Every year I reread this I am bowled over by how right this book feels to me. I love the writing and I love the world.

Reading each book in this series always feels like getting a glimpse into which world could've picked us and The Goblin Market has always felt like my world. Everything about this book just makes so much sense to me. I'm not convinced that I'd want to live there but if I had to be somewhere, there would be much worse fates for me, I think.

I genuinely don't know if there's ever going to be a book in this series that surpasses this one tbh. I love the Goblin Market so much and I really believe that if I were ever to open a door and be asked if I was sure, it would take me there. A+++ 11/10 🤌🤌🤌

This book feels the slowest and somehow also like the most is left out of the story as we really only get glimpses at Lundy's life and learn enough to understand the Goblin Market. I think I've known this for years but I somehow always forget in between re-reads of the series, that this is my absolute favourite of all the books (so far) and 100% my favourite world we've been too so far. I love learning about this logic world and its rules in the same way that I'm sure so many people would rather read about a nonsense world! This book really was a total blast and has once again reminded me to do more research on The Goblin Market!

I'd forgotten how completely sad this book is! I still think this is one of the most interesting worlds we've been to in this series! I think I've said this before, but I really believe this series gets better with each new book!

I think it's still a tie between books 2 & 3 for which main characters I love in this series, but I think The Goblin Market is one of my favourite and most complex worlds that we've been too! I enjoyed seeing how Lundy became the teacher we met in book 1 and I LOVED visiting The Goblet Market, I can't wait to re-read this again next year!

I don't know what it is about this particular series reread, but it really does feel like coming home.

I just know with every fibre of my being that I would absolutely despise living in a nonsense world so somebody explain to me why I love this book so much.

"Elsewhere was a legend and a lie, until it came looking for you."

An absolute bop of a book. If book 4 has my favourite world, Cora has to be my favourite character in the series so far.

I think I've said this before, this is one of my favourite books in the series, it's not my absolute favourite which I think so far is In An Absent Dream but, year after year I find something new in this book that I absolutely love and completely relate to. And this year it Christopher! I feel like next to Kade or Jack and Jill, Christopher gets looked over but I loved getting to know him in this book. I really hope that one day we get a book about Christopher and Mariposa because it's definitely his time to shine!

If it isn't obvious already, I love this series and this is one of my favourite books. Right now, my favourite is the second one in the series, but this book seriously gets better with each read and I already can't wait until I inevitably re-read it again next year.

I love this book. I know that a bunch of people aren't such big fans of this instalment, and I can see why, but I really do enjoy it. The plot is a bit less complex but I love the main character and I love the descriptions of Remi's world.
Also, to everyone saying that Cora talks about her weight/size too often: screw you. As a plus size woman, I really identify with Sumi as a character and I can't wait to re-read this again next year and get back into this story, already.

I LOVED THIS. It was the perfect book to pick up after reading I Hate Fairyland and I absolutely need a fourth book.
Also, that last line had me shook. Also, the fat rep was fantastic.

My rating for this gets lower and lower each year and I really don't understand why because this is a brilliant book!

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said. This book is amazing and so so heartbreaking.

I think I need to stop rereading this entire series annually because I appreciate it less and less on every reread.

I really do enjoy Nancy as a character, she's so interesting and I wish we got to know more about her. Nevertheless, I can't wait to read the rest of the series in the next few days.

This book is tiny? I'm really excited to pick this up. I've heard that the main character is Ace so I've pushed this up to the very top of my TBR and plan to pick it up next month.

The only thing I got from this book: Robert Audley is the gay detective the world needs.

Honestly, this was a pretty solid book, good writing and interesting enough characters. That being said, I wouldn't exactly call it gothic and I also thought it was pretty obvious mystery that I had figured out from almost the first chapter. Also this book was 500 pages? Why?

So far in my Jane Austen reading experience, I've had the least amount of thoughts on this one. Usually I feel relatively passionate about how I feel about the characters, plot or the book in general, but I have basically nothing to say??? Except that I don't really understand why Henry Tilney would want to marry Catherine and that this is very very low-Gothic and you definitely don't need to read Udolpho to understand it.

Thank God it's over! Okay, it wasn't that bad, in fact, it was actually pretty alright and I can see why people love it, but it was also stupidly long and utterly boring for hundreds of pages at a time.

As always, I never understand how much I love Artemis and the rest of the gang until I actually start reading the books in this series! I love all of these characters and the hijinx they get up to! I just barely finished reading this 5 minutes ago and I already can't wait to read the next book!
