I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about a murder mystery set outside of Ellingham Academy but I absolutely loved how secluded this one still felt set at a Summer Camp. I have a feeling the next one is going to be set in England so I don't know how it's going to go, but I'm so happy to be back in this crime-solving world with Stevie!

This really feels like reading the always growing bibliography, constantly running in John Green Mind, and I really loved it. I don't know if I'll remember half of this, but I do know that I love John Green's voice and would gladly be told all kind of random shit by him.

I really don't know what to say about Nadya's story, or I don't know how to put my thoughts into words. This was very much an action-less story where you're just following Nadya and I loved it. I related far too much to Nadya in the beginning of her story with her forced prosthetic than I can fully explain and I cried A LOT. If you've ever been made to try or wear a prosthetic/aid that you didn't want just know that Nadya finally gets to stop wearing it once she dives through her door, and she is just as perfect then as she was before her adoptive parents decided she needed it.

That cover 😍 Love that we're getting Nadya's story! This means the series isn't ending here, right? Because the series can't end until we've had Kade's story, right?

Okay, so I picked this up because the beginning of this book was in Naomi Novik's anthology Buried Deep and I really enjoyed it, and honestly I think that beginning part of this book was probably my favourite because once we got to the Fae world I got a little lost. I couldn't keep names straight or even keep track of the names I'd given the characters as placeholders and I don't know if it was just my brain not functioning at normal capacity or what, but tel me why it took me until just over the halfway point to realise that this is a Rumpelstiltskin retelling??? The book is literally called Spinning Silver???!!! Truly, the phrase 'no thoughts, head empty' was created just to refer to me.

Also, was someone going to tell me Naomi novik founded ao3 or was i supposed to just find that out myself on a random Tuesday???

This was nothing like I thought it would be but I really enjoyed it! I'm really interested to see what happens when Moriarty meets Sherlock!

It was such a rush to be back in the BBC Sherlock world and reliving the pilot episode but my god, why does almost every panel with Sherlock make it look like he hasn't got any teeth? Aside from that, this was so nostalgic!

Yeah... so I think I'm going to have to take a pause on this series for now. I was bored for most of this and then the ending put a bad taste in my mouth. Like, I'm so sorry that knowing a deaf person made your life hard but maybe get over yourself and don't blame everything on her??? Yeah, it's not the storyline for me.

I didn't read the blurb I just saw kitten and dog in the title so I truly had no idea what I was in for with this one. I didn't *love* this one but I did love seeing the animals!

"When the door thumped closed behind Zyll, she was greeted by the sharp silence that follows a beheading."

I had absolutely no idea what to expect from this but it was a really fun ride with fantasy Sherlock Holmes vibes and an interesting plot twist at the end!
