This book was so much better than I thought it would be. It was wonderfully paced, and all of the characters stories were so compelling. There was some resolution that I missed, but I  enjoyed it so much it made up for it!

Daniel Sloss would probably hate that I loved this book, which makes it even sweeter! It was funny and  thought-provoking at the same time. If you like his comedy, you’ll love this book!

This was solidly enjoyable. Piper was delightful, and Harrison was dark and brooding and hot. It also had an added benefit of addressing neurodiversity in romance novels! This was a lovely and quick read all around!

I have complicated feelings about this book, although they average out in that I liked it! The writing is beautiful and funny, the world is rich and complex. It just took so long for me to understand it all. It felt like there was something I missed that explained things, or that I just wasn’t picking up on them. But once I settled in I really enjoyed it. Still confused in places, but I’m determined to finish the trilogy!

I haven’t read a fantasy with a dragon in a long time! Was this book perfect? No, not by any means. But I still really liked it. I found it engaging and fast paced, and I loved how the dragons worked in the world. 

This book could have been half as long and it would have been better. A lot of words spent saying nothing. I liked the world, but the story itself felt very underdeveloped. 

This was such a cheesy YA romance. It had some good moments, but was very trope-y, and not in a great way. I think my students would like it, just wasn’t for me. 

I think part of my problem is that I haven’t read a short story collection in a long time. Some of the stories were incredible, and others just ok, but I liked the creativity and unique take on Arthurian legends. 

This was a sweet story surrounding a local library on the verge of being shut down, and it had a lovely cast of characters. I almost wish it had been 3rd person, or not as centered around June. While I liked her and her growth, she was so stuck in her head for so long it made it difficult to connect to the other characters.
