WHEW I’m so glad to be done with the Bridgerton series. This one was a ride, and I don’t think I liked it. There were just so many twists, and it ended up being a little too much. The 2nd prologue even was just ridiculous. I didn’t dislike the characters, and I was entertained, but it’s definitely on the lower end of the enjoyment scale. 

I never thought I would give a Bridgerton book 4 stars, but here we are! This is actually my favorite in the series, I think, mostly because of the banter between the two leads. The plot was more exciting than the others, even if it seemingly took some inspiration from earlier books, but it’s in contender for my favorite in the series. 

This book was so beautiful and emotional. Even though I know I’m not the primary audience for this book, it still made me feel things deeply. Everything about it was simply superb. 

This book was sweet enough for a Christmas rom-com. I haven’t read a friends to lovers in a while, so maybe that was part of it, I just felt like the attraction between Noel and Nick happened quickly. The story itself felt long, it was just a quick leap (more so for Nick) to go from she’s my best friend to I want to bang her. And I also wished that Nick had some issue to work through as well. It felt very much like Noel was the only issue/the only “screwed up” one, and I would have liked it better if it were more balanced. That being said, it was sweet and funny and had some great characters. 

Laura Weymouth is a treasure, and all of her books are phenomenal. Her writing is beautiful and lyrical, and this book is no exception. I’m a permanent fan of her work!

This book was the definition of grumpy/sunshine, which the author openly acknowledges throughout! It did feel a bit fast, and honestly the Maybell we got in front of Wesley was a bit different than she was with others/in her own head, but it was still sweet and enjoyable. The ending was swoon-worthy and just a great wrap-up. 

This was simply a sweet holiday romance. It was sold to me as a Hallmark movie in a book, and that’s exactly what it was!

I loved Niki and related to her on many levels, and Sam was a perfect rom-com love interest. This book was sweet and cute, although the ending came a bit too quickly. 

As a lover of not only Pride and Prejudice, but also the movie Burlesque, I am definitely the peak audience for this book and thankfully I loved it! There was just enough P&P with great intentional changes, but also it was wholly original. And I liked that there wasn’t a third act misunderstanding. It was just fun and lovely and sexy!
