Rachel is one of my favorite Bachelorettes, and I think she is one of the most admirable, honest, and sincere people in media and in Bachelor Nation. She pulls no punches, and this book is a perfect encapsulation of that. Not only is she open and vulnerable, she also challenges her readers and pushes them to do and think more. This is not a cheesy tell-all book, but an eye-opening, inspiring, and challenging read, with some Bachelor stories thrown in.  

Grief, family, and self love are all beautifully addressed in this book.  All of the characters were wonderful, and while I don’t know if the multiple points of view were necessary, they certainly helped round out the characters. I just loved this book. 

 I'm glad to say I was delighted by this book. One of my favorite authors has posted many times about how much she loves this series, and after just reading the first one I can see why. The way that Marchetta writes about grief and the isolation of these characters is incredible. I love how she told this story and the characters she developed. It makes me want to read it again, knowing what I know, to get a deeper experience out of it. Sure, not everything was perfect (I wanted to feel more about the development of the romance, not just be told it happened, etc), but I still loved it so so much.

This book was a gut-punch. It was very hard to read with how sad the story was. It’s discussions on beauty were fascinating and very moving. I liked the variety of storytelling, but it’s so distressing at the same time. 

This book was very well written and I liked how the story developed. I was a bit confused at the beginning at the structure of the book, and I did see the reveal coming pretty early in the book. However, I still liked the way the book was written and the language, and Taylor was a well developed character. 

This was a beautiful and powerful graphic novel. The fact that it's about a real family makes it even more meaningful. The authors treated this family with a lot of respect and did a great job of showing the struggles of immigrants, especially ones coming into the country in 2016.

This book was a delight. All three books in this series are wonderful and the author really stuck the landing with this one. It’s funny and heartwarming and spicy and just everything! Margot was one of the best parts of the last two books, and in this one she is so great and complex! I can’t say a ton actually happens in this book, but I still really really liked it. 

This was a pretty basic YA novel, but it had some good action in it. I think this would be a good book for high schoolers, which is why I was reading it in the first place. 

I really liked the world of this novella and just wanted more. This could have been a fully formed novel and I think I would have liked it more; I felt like I was missing information or key backstories that would have only made it richer. But overall I was intrigued and engaged the whole time. 

This graphic novel did a great job of adapting Speak, which is one of the most powerful and important YA novels. The graphics place this book more closely to modern day, and the illustrations help the read connect with Melinda and her struggles.
