The things I’ve enjoyed about Waters’ series are true in this book: I enjoyed the chemistry and the wit, and the side characters were particularly charming. Sophie’s family was excellent, and I could have enjoyed more of them. I did get annoyed at Sophie several times (her reasonings for why she and West couldn’t be together never really worked for me), but I still enjoyed it. 

I liked this better than the love hypothesis, for sure, but a lot of it still made me roll my eyes. I liked the humor, and the world was cool, but some ridiculous things still made me not the biggest fan.
