I enjoyed this a lot. All of the characters were complicated and kind of awful, but I got why. I was invested the whole time as well!
Very mid book. Parts of it kept me engaged, but there were just so many little interludes and not the strongest main plot. The concept was interesting, but the pacing didn’t always work for me.
I enjoyed the adventure, but not as much as I thought I would. It felt very old school, which I liked, but lacked enough depth to make me really enjoy it.
