Ok this book isn’t perfect. There may be parts that are cheesy, or slight pacing issues, or other complaints from other readers.
For me? This book was me in the pages. I felt myself in almost every word. From the main characters favorite childhood book to where she ends up at the end, I just understood her at every turn. Sometimes books come along that just speak to you and your soul, and this was one for me.

Well written books that deal with mental health, especially with teenagers, just do it for me. This was not an easy read by any means, but one of those important books that I’m glad were written.

I love Ashley Schumacher, and find her books wonderful YA stories. This one wasn’t my favorite of hers, even though I did enjoy it. Arthur, Bre, and Noah were particularly fun to read, it was Madeline herself that frustrated me. I understood her and where she was at, but her decisions and views on situations were hard to read. Still a cute story though.

I actually really enjoyed this. I found amber compelling, and her friendship with Gwen was beautiful. I liked this take on 90s pop stars to be really interesting, even if it wasn’t incredibly deep.

DELIGHTFUL. This had all of the things I’ve come to love in a Veronica Speedwell mystery, and did it perfectly.
