I'm obsessed with any story where the FMC get's to one-up the MMC - especially when she's a little unhinged, feral, stalker gremlin.

Kyrie just continues to push Jack's buttons throughout the whole story and I'm here for it. Can you confuse and fluster a psychopath? No - but our queen Kyrie can.

I was annoyed by her thought process of keeping Jack out of the loop near the end, and her decision to "free him" - up until the authors brought it back to her assuming Jack was unable to feel anything. Still slightly annoyed because I want the murder babies in love at all times, but better.

Read your trigger warnings kids!

Best book I've read all year - just absolutely amazing!

The fact that the author fit all of that into 276 pages is absolutely baffling to me. How does one fit a whole-ass developed story with amazing plot, world building, character development, and romance in to that short of a time frame - well folks this is how!

Sellah and Kaid's story via all our flashbacks was endearing and build upon such an amazingly innocent foundation. I feel like throughout the whole story you're just rooting for them, and for Sellah when she has to go through the trials to get him back. I personally LOVED that Sellah had to go through all her trials "alone" - it made it feel like the power imbalance that was once between them (with her innocence and lack of experience of life in general) was a lot more even.
That way when we get to the epilogue those trauma babies are equal(ish).

Besides being the easiest guess on who the Stranger was - I still loved the reveal at the end.
I only got a little nervous when Death called her "Mine" and that he loved her - like NOOOOO I don't want another love interest! Luckily that was just him being a typical god who doesn't like to share lol

I will now be reading everything Nicole has ever written ✌🏼

I'm not sure how to rate this books lol this was a wild ride. To be fair - I asked for something unhinged.. so that is on me. Some of the scenes were awesome and made the story more fantastical - but some of the scenes had me repeating "what the fuck is happening" over and over.
I really did appreciate the detail to the arts and thought it was really cool all the paintings mentions are real life paintings. And I enjoyed the ending.

My bad guesses:
After hearing this plot was paranormal I immediately thought little red riding hood and he's the big bad wolf - that was so far off. Then I was convinced he was Rumpelstiltskin - which I think would have been cool. The actual ending I would not classify as paranormal... but I liked how it tied together with the grandson!

All my favorite characters back together - makes me so happy 🥰
I was so excited to read Bas's book since I feel like we got the least amount of info on him from the Ironwood books - and wooooooow Alessa did not disappoint!

I have so many thoughts, all great - but with no rhyme or reason:
  •
The library scene with no touching - STOP. I was weak.

  •
Apollo and Lachlan are KINGS and thanks god Lachlan was like fuck it and is just going after it

  •
Valentine scenes - cannot wait for grumpy baby's book

  •
    Daddy Greatdrakes.. that's all

  •
    Mind stuff is hot

  •
Bridget geeking out with the fam - cries

AMAZING GIVE ME 14 MORE! (but literally please give all the Silver siblings a book/novella/HEA)

I wish I could read these books over and over and never have to leave this universe. I am obsessed with Rowin and Genevieve - their banter, their chemistry, and their growth with one another throughout the book is swoon-worthy. Not to mention Umbra - sweet sweet baby.

My only wish with the main characters is that we
got to understand Genevieve's magic a little more. We don't get a lot of explanation as to how she did the thing with Grave to not die lol also I didn't like that Rowin had to give up his immortality (I want all those lovelies to live forever 😭)

The siblings
could not have been written better! Sevin was a demented little angel baby and I want him to find an absolute sunshine of a woman and him be so confused lol. And GRAVE! I knew I was gonna love him! Ellin - gives off the perfect baby sister vibe and I'm here for it. I cannot wait to learn more about Remi, Wells, and Covin - we love them.

Quite a few unanswered questions at the end of this book - but I will wait *impatiently* for my answers in the next books 😉

Also
THANK THE LORD she didn't kill off any of the familiars like she said in the acknowledgements cause I WOULD NOT have been okay.

The whole time I was picturing Kate (season 2 Bridgerton) and Orlando Bloom Legolas as the FMC and MMC lol

Loved their banter and wish I could get an Aunty novella. Also if the other two brothers weren't brothers I would pay money to read an MMF romance with them.
