Flowing with color, history, and spooky lore; this one captured me with every moment. The art is stunning to look through as you’re pulled deeper into the story. The time spent is so abundantly clear as you look. The writing is fantastic and I finished this in one sitting. If you want creepy Texas with the rich colors of its west, you’re in for a treat.

SO in love with this book and its story within the pages. I have to say I wasn’t quite sure what was in store, given the title and its description on the back. But I thoroughly enjoyed every part and it left me so immersed with every turn of the page. The action, the lore, and beyond. I finished and had to quell my sadness that I couldn’t just move on to the next book.
It’s safe to say I CAN’T wait to see what our author has in store with her world building and beautiful writing skills. There’s just so much with this one, I don’t want to spoil, you’ll love it just like I did.

The graphics and general story excited and captured me! I think the attempt at a slow paced horror with tension was choppy with how quick and fast paced this became, leaving no room for tension or build up. I loved the Misery vibes with it being an obsessed fan and I think if this was more broad it would be wonderful!

THISSSSSSSSSSSSSS BOOK RIGHT HERE. I’m a lover of Anthologies because you get a little bit of something with every chapter. They’re jaw dropping, twisted, and mind numbingly charged. The science fiction and folklore-esq vibes he weaves in with the thrilling horror are beautiful and lead to a fantastic piece of work. I would go on about my particular favorites but I think that would take too much space! I’ll definitely be rereading this in October when it comes out!

Will I continuously be rereading this graphic novel every time I need a cozy pick me up? Yes, yes I will. The characters are fantastically lovable and wholesome. The story and plot are simple but get the job done with a sweet little adventurous mystery and fun along the way! Plus the illustrations are some of my absolute favorite! If you’re looking for something to set the perfect vibe, this is definitely it. Please give it a try!

This was delectably dark, twisted, and full of gory metaphors. The author forced us to dive in and experience this ruinous carnage. It was super quick but most definitely stuck out! I’d love to read more in this form.

How fun was the first book?? Dark academia banter and mystery with a touch of romance. This second release didn’t disappoint. We’re reunited with our main characters and we dive right back in to the gorgeous relationship and hunt for the Fae. It’s set in a super fun era where we really get to dive into the academic and scholarly world of what Emily Wilde herself is accepted in.
I loved meeting some of the new characters and I definitely hope they stick around. I also can’t wait to read more and purchase once there’s a physical because I can’t turn these down.
