Thissssss is a suspensful ride like no other! If you’re on the hunt for something tense, dramatic, and filled with family lies, this is undoubtedly for you. The authors writing is also gorgeous with great descriptions for the plot and the setting in coastal Florida. Domestic thriller set near the beach? Absolutely. I definitely recommend this one!

When you’re the PERFECT girl, the one who has all the answers, gets everything right, you’re bound for inner chaos. The eery yet final girl atmosphere is so fun right from the start. Especially with their Buffy marathon, I mean come on. That’s amazing. Jessa invited her fiends over and after the power goes out we’re on the ride of twists and turns! This was a fun one for sure.

Keeping in mind this is a short story, I thought this cozy cute fantasy world was so fun! You really get thrown in deep right away and with the beautiful descriptions you feel like you’re already part of the world. I really look forward to reading more and getting a better grasp on the characters!

This book really knew what it was doing. I’ve never really read a holiday romance this early in the year (currently in July so it’s actually the perfect time) but this not only had beautiful slow burn but also grumpy X sunshine, found family, and trans representation! It was a beautiful little combo of things that I love and not to mention the author also had an easy flow with her writing that paired perfectly.

I thought Grace and Alex were PERFECT together by the end and I thought his know to make sure he researched to be the best he could be was fantastic. Grace sharing her story was so heartbreaking and her ability to be a social worker and still so happy was another thing I loooooved. This was a cute holiday romcom read that also handled very serious subject matter with respect and I can’t wait to read more by the author! No spoilers so that’s as detailed as I’ll go haha!
