This was a beautiful projection of the uncertainty and angst in people this age. I loved the authors writing and how concise and snappy it was. It only added to the overall mystery throughout the book. This was a whole did it with a heartbreaking outcome. We truly overlook grief until it’s too late. Definitely recommend!

If you’re needing a sad yet hopefully inspiring book that succeeds in beautiful character growth, this one is for you!! It’s a testimony to how quickly things can change around us and to us. The inevitable “shoe dropping” once something rough has already happened. The authors writing is spectacular and takes us on a journey of grief and loss.

This was such a nice change of pace with this genre! This topic is very well touched on in many many books but I dare say this brings a fresh take?? Give this a try because not only do we get proper war time material but we get love interwoven through the build up to the war. Not just dumped right in. I think it brought a richness and depth to the characters that had you rooting for them.

If you want something that screams Gilmore Girls, cozy fall sweaters, lattes, and spooky romcom, this is for you! I really enjoyed the simplistic approach to this one for just a feel good contemporary romance.

Don’t worry about being scared or haunted in this one. We have a tough family dynamic that helps us understand the characters better as well.

This was a frolicking twisty green forest of a story that had very beautiful writing and a character to root for. I think this has the beginnings of a great middle grade read that explains grief and love! Definitely give this one a try!

This was a fun one! If you’re looking for something that gives you the vibes of Bridgerton but twistedly vampire centered? This is for you. I really enjoyed the overall story and characters, I think the authors writing was entertaining AND interesting. The character makes a bet that in order to win, he has to lose his vampiric powers. He doesn’t realize the challenges of being essentially, human. I definitely recommend!

A heartbreaking yet powerful story that entwines history and even murder mystery. The horrors that persisted with Native American families and the corruption that happened, ripping them apart and adopting out their children! This was intense, fast paced, and absolutely beautiful. It flows so nice right from the first book! This is history that SHOULD be teached and not buried away.

An abundance of love, loss, grief, and family. This story is intriguing almost as if the author held us in place as we read it! I was also pleasantly surprised at how much this spoke to me, and I know will do so to others. The characters are vivid, deep, yet flawed which makes for a gorgeous story every time!

Make sure to note this is a memoir! We’re taken through the authors life and beginnings as a vet. Her self discovery and even discovery of what makes the vet world tick. I think this was very very interesting especially because I live in a place that either has incredibly expensive vets or places that are seriously lacking in the taking care of the animals department. It’s always nice to see every approach!

In this twisted story, survival means facing the nightmares lurking in your own past and friend group. I really enjoyed this one! If you’re a fan of the SLASHER vibes you will probably love it. I mean who doesn’t love severe weather forcing friends to be stuck in a cabin with no cellphone service?? It was twisty with a who did it mystery, with surprised lurking at the end!
