This was such a fun, exciting epic adventure of a book and I think it might be my favorite out of the first three so far! It has everything you want and a fantasy adventure that keeps you coming back and guessing. Plus, the authors writing is beautiful and fits her genre so well. I’ll say the steaks are definitely higher in this one and you feel like you and all the characters are teetering on the edge! I definitely recommend this one! Such a fun main character as well.

Thank you to the author for my ecopy!

It’s time to reinvent horror to today’s generation and the author did just that. First, anything creepy involving social media is already a plus because it’s so prevalent today. Second, if you’re a fan of The Ring or anything similar, this one is for you. I really enjoyed the pacing, the atmospheric writing style, the overall unease, and the main character! She not only helps you sink into the story but she’s relatable enough that you feel what she feels. Spooky season is the perfect time to enjoy this one! Not to mention the overall themes the author touches on add fantastic representation as well.

This was beautifully impactful and had a wealth of knowledge tied together. Our past, present, and future. The way we’re perceived and the way we’re hoped for. I really enjoyed this unique book and I thought it was interesting with the letters as well. The authors writing was beautiful and holds you in tight!

Full of possibilities, this book takes us through a momentous journey. A journey through Nicky, in the past and in the present. I really enjoyed the authors writing and the back and forth between timelines. I also loved how descriptive college in Boston was in the ‘70s! This was heartwarming and heartbreaking, an emotional ride you want to get on! I definitely recommend.

This was so incredibly sweet and witty, somehow comical yet heart wrenching the author does a great job of showcasing how it is to be a family, especially between grandmas and their granddaughters, which is such a closed relationship. You don’t see it too often anymore. I really love this book and how it was portrayed and I think it’s definitely a must read for everyone.

This was such a good one! This author is always a hit but middle grade never saw it coming. I think it was a beautiful mix of age appropriate horror (for kids who can handle a bit of spooky) and a great message of not letting anyone take away what you love or bully/peer pressure you into not being yourself. I look forward to more!

~ This was the perfect cozy read I didn’t know I needed! It got me through being sick recently and it was such a breath of fresh air. You should definitely check this one out, it came out on the 18th so run and grab yourself a copy!!! It’s a must!

This was definitely an interesting book! I really enjoyed the unique mythology behind the story and I thought the FMCs were actually so so likable. I think this story will be taken great places. I definitely recommend you give this a try and see if it’s for you!

Fantastic work on creating a book that equally speaks to kids AND adults and it still be middle grade. I love the build up of the story and the adventure at foot. I mean what’s better than ghosts? There’s also a really deep and meaningful moral to the story and great focus on bullying and being yourself. This was a fantastic spooky fantasy read!
