I really enjoyed this beautiful historical fiction and the amount of time and research that must have gone into this book by the author. The story was so enjoyable as well and I loved the bit of enemies to lovers we get in the start. It added to the overall story and I am HERE for it! I really loved Claire Eiffel and learning more about her family and her time.

This was such a buzzing, creeping vine off the spookiest suburb tree story. In a good way! Domestic thrillers I feel can be under appreciated for their overall just eery and sometimes horrific plots. This was a great one with our interconnected characters and the love to hate neighbors (and husband). Plus, I really liked the emotional depth the main characters had at the same time. Overall I definitely recommend this one!

This is the YA queer apocalyptic novel you were looking for. Want zombies they strangely remind you off a disease ridden pandemic? A time jump to the post part of the apocalypse? Well here you’ll get it all. Because this is a crazy contagion that started in Russia and took over the world.

A conservative, morally opposite, and hard to understand father pushes his kids away. They’re ready to leave and find the love they know they deserve and it all gets crazy from there! Eira and Soren are ready to take matters into their own hands. Definitely give this a try!

As I read this book one of the first thoughts I had was, “wow this is pretty unique” and I stand by that. I really enjoyed the depth of the characters first and foremost, their emotional connections and backgrounds. Which I think makes for such an amazing mystery.

The plot was tight and engaging with a bit of surreal fantastical moments. Anything with a gothic manor and I’m sold as well but I loved how detailed this was not to mention the plotted out escape attempts by our main character and side characters! I definitely recommend this one!

Who knew this would be such a glamorous mirage of mystery and crime?! The pacing was fast and right to the point with this one. It kept me hooked till the end! I would say I’m pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this one.

The most important part of a mystery is how well you can possibly relate to it. And I think this book does a fantastic job zeroing in on the grief, jealousy, and love we all feel. Especially for our sisters, whether we’re alike or completely different. A YA suspense that takes us on an incredibly fast paced yet long journey through discovering their secrets and how they fit into society. What led to their disappearance in the first place. I definitely recommend if you want something that has a heavy emotional depth to it as well.

I thought this one was super interesting! I love the re-rise of Frankenstein literature and media, there’s so much potential. This book was definitely fast-paced and while it held hints of romance I would say this is a lot more worldview coming of age. Helga is rebelling. She’s discovering what the world is and all of its very peculiar quirks. The good people AND the bad people. I really enjoyed how we see her come to the end of the story and the journey she takes to get there!
