I think this was a fun book! It was definitely interesting with a quick yet exciting plot. I did really enjoy the music aspect and the violin. That our main character is striving to prove herself time and time again because of her education level and she’s orphaned. It had a lot of sweet moments but also quite a few aggravating moments. The love interest made me grate my teeth a bit.

I really enjoyed how adorably cozy and magical this was. Considering its magical realism, one of my fav genres. The cats were adorably and stood up on their little hind legs to interpret star chats and impart their glowing wisdom on those that need it. It was a perfect lil book!

Okay I’m personally a giant marvel universe fan and I really loved Jessica Jones and everything involving it! So imagine how happy I was to read this! I think Lisa Jewells writing did this absolute wonders, she gives it such a fresh yet dark mysterious vibe. This is a great detective/private investigator story that ventures into the unknown of the UK with a fun change of pace. I loved the “guest” appearances of other characters as well. All in all I think this was amazing! Just keep in mind it’s not her normal type of book!

This really was such a fun read! I thought the Filipino representation was really neat to read about, especially the food, but also the courting practices! I always enjoy a book with a great family dynamic as well so this one delivered. The authors writing also gave these characters so much personality and pizzazz! I definitely recommend.

This is suuuuuch a beautiful book! There’s nothing sadder than dogs leaving us before their time and I love the rebirth of his character to help us along the way! It’s a sweet heartwarming story for the ages as we follow Lucky, a hero in his own right, through all the silly best times! My daughter really loved this and was so taken with him, she’ll definitely want to read this 100 more times! The perfect Children’s Book for ages 4 to 12
A beautifully woven story of slow burn dark vs light that will most definitely capture your heart like it did mine! Inara Gage has a stunning writing style that keeps you coming back for more. She has a TON of representation throughout her book which makes it not only enjoyable but an ABSOLUTE MUST. Fated Mates and Touch her and ☠️ are only very few of the tropes you’ll find here.
