This is essentially Ghost Adventures but for kids and I’m absolutely here for it! It had immaculate vibes when it came to the ghost hunting for an audience and I loved the descriptions of the ship. It spoils the first book quickly so keep that in mind before you read this, which makes sense. I wouldn’t say this was scary but it nicely held its own when it came to supernatural fun and chaos.

This was a stunning read full of cultural responsibility, healing, and self-discovery. Two best friends find their love blossoming into more in this coming-of-age tell. If you want something so utterly realistic in a poetic way, this is most definitely for you. It describes how hard it is to navigate life with unrealistic expectations due to a number of reasons and how hard it can be to choose love over them all. This was sweet yet dark and such a must read!

The perfect friendship fantasy conclusion! If you’re looking for rich world building and deeply lovable characters, this entire story is a great pick! This is the final installment and answers our dying questions along with wrapping up everything as nicely as possible. One thing I loved was the authors writing, the descriptions and characters have so much depth that you can’t help but love it. Once our main character comes into her own we’re left with a fantastic finish.

If you’re looking for a new lushly written magical world with a beautifully detailed world, LOOK NO FURTHER. I think this was so uniquely fantastic and really showed the hierarchy that can take place (in any world) that sends those with certain jobs or abilities straight to the bottom of the chain. Even if that job is high demand or absolutely essential. I really loved Grady and her personality, it was refreshingly gruff yet soft enough to be relatable. It was super interesting to see where it was taking us plus you’re in for a ride with every twist and turn!

Thank you to Simon Books at Simon & Schuster for my copy!
This book was so extensively researched that every page you could tell the thought and care that was put into it. The author, Eve Fairbanks, is highly educated on the things she wrote and we wouldn’t want it any other way. You’d think this was a slow read but in reality it went by almost too fast, the history reading like a novel instead of the textbook you’d imagine. I was discovering so many things I had no clue of while reading and it’s opened my eyes to an entirely different culture. Which is always a plus. I think this is a fantastic addition to anyone’s library and I hope more people will give it a chance and discover how enthralling it was.

This!!!! Book!! I’m a sucker for the world that is From Blood and Ash and didn’t think I’d like other characters in the same “universe” more but WOW was I completely wrong. I absolutely loooove Sera, I think she’s such a strong, morally ambiguous, and richly written main character. There’s plenty of similarities to Poppy yet she stands all on her own for sure. Nyktos was just as good and lovable tbh. He had the broody aloha attitude yet kept it in just enough check to still be admirable and soft-ish. This is definitely slow burn yet the entire ride is so worth it. The world building still felt spectacular to read and learn more and more about it. I also loved the “falling in love with someone I have to kill” trope and woooooah does this especially deliver it. If you loved her other work you should DEFINITELY check this out and give it a chance!! I’ll be binging the next books.

I really enjoyed this one! It had all the aspects of a unique paranormal thriller and the little tidbits of romance were seamlessly woven through! I thought it was definitely spooky if not slightly predictable near the end. But still a great read!

I loved that the main character KNEW there was trouble brewing pretty much from the very start! And how the twists and turns just keep coming. I really loved the Irish element of course and I think it really added to it for me, history wise. It was the perfect mix of thriller yet slightly murder detective. Great if you love true crime like me!

A wealth of knowledge is held within this book and I’m ecstatic to be able to read it! Not only do you learn an innovative approach to attachment theory, but Dr. Judy Ho has left us quizzed and practicals to help us truly understand what she’s writing. It was quite fun sitting with the a notebook and taking notes! I think this book is SUPER helpful and one I’ll definitely be referring back to often. We need more books like this!
