If you’d like a book full of magical delight with the cottagecore of your dreams. Look no further! We’re all suckers for a sentient house and a world reminiscent of ivy overgrown in a cracked wall to a different dimension. I really enjoyed this book. It was an easy read that gave me all the studio ghibli vibes I could ask for. Plus the authors writing was beautiful and gave me vivid imagery of everything happening!! A killer debut novel!

The concept for this book was so unique and I love all the twists and turns this journey took us on! The author has a fantastic way with words that sucked me in from the start even with a slightly slow beginning. It has rich world building and kept me guessing the ENTIRE time. Definitely give this a try!

This was a clever and cute read perfect for the season! I really like the romcom-esq vibes of them being rivals turned to “easy truce”. After his book flops he’s decided to take her down from the inside but it requires careful consideration and… letting her hypnotize him. Which in turn after quite a few events leads to him being STUCK. This was a funny yet romantic read and I think this will be the perfect catch for those looking to enjoy a few peaceful moments!

I’ll always love a dystopian world with high stakes and even darker secrets. This book didn’t disappoint. Translated from the original Korean, it was gorgeously written and has even more beautiful imagery. A frozen wasteland with the harshest conditions being the “only” alternative to fame, fortune, and life in Snowglobe. It’s all that’s left of earth in this pocket and it seems things only get darker from here. I anticipate the sequel whenever that might come out!

Enemies to lovers and slow burn take the cake in this fantasy full of secrets and betrayal. Our main character has probably the weirdest meet cute that turns into an arranged marriage. To a prince with a reputation that most definitely proceeds him. I thought this was a fun fantasy and it ends on a cliffhanger so beware! There were quite a few plot points throughout and I think I would have love to see them develop a bit more but they could also be covered in the next book so I’m not too worried! The art in this book is also gorgeous and I’m absolutely obsessed!

This was a crazy, fantastic, weirdly creepy, read. It starts strong and fast with a man planning to rob a woman out in the woods and oh boy does it go COMPLETELY wrong. This was a great book and I honestly loved all the highs and lows that came with it. You have to give this one a try to see what I mean!

This!!! Was so cute! We all know I absolutely love sapphic romance and this was such a uniquely “cruel prince-esq” fae read yet the way the author wrote things was still very different and refreshing! I loved our main characters love of the outside and foraging. Which is what leads her to try and save a fox from a bear, a bear who turns into a boy and claims she owes him. The magical world was intricate yet simple and it was easy to digest the entire time! I loved it.

It was interesting with the way it was told yet fell slightly short with its beginning. I enjoy the aspect of Virginia and the Appalachians in many stories plus the witchy spell practitioner vibes but there were some moments that kinda left me thinking.. mmmmm. Overall I’d still say to give it a try and see if it’s for you! There were quite a lot of creeepy little moments I enjoyed.
