The perfect way to introduce individuality to kids and the uniqueness that comes from being yourself! Teaching it’s okay to like things that are different and enjoy stuff others might find boring or weird. It was a delightful read with sweet illustrations!

Thank you NetGalley!

Absolutely loved the feelings this invoked with grief, trauma, and family. We’re taken through every layer of emotion and shown exactly what it is to feel. It at moments felt like other collections I’ve read but it still kept its own pace.

3.5 rounded up!

I think this was a fun spooky season enthralling story with our pumpkin headed man that really laid the bad boy (bad pumpkin?) on thick. I loved the monster hunting aspect and her joining up with him to solve all these crazy things! The ending was interesting and I’d definitely consider it a cliffhanger. Overall it was unique and it held my attention!

I had the pleasure of receiving this book and I’ve taken my time enjoying every chapter. It’s well thought out and executed beautifully. Our main character is — from the beginning, suppose to turn our feelings on a head and force us to see the deeply rich character development. The absolute wild paranormal plot with world building that had me coming back for more more more. You should DEFINITELY read this and explore the inner workings that are the Infernal Artifacts Collection.

Thank you to the author for my copy!

Jaw dropped

Thank you to NetGalley for my copy in exchange for an honest review!

Every single one of her collections speaks to a different part of us. This one was no different. It caressed our flaws and told us to still keep trying. She beautifully takes us through a journey of how to still walk through life even with people there to make us cower. It was a fantastic read!

This was exceptionally informative and cutesy at the same time! Reading about these things we all know in this format was neat. I also loved the illustrations and thought they brought that perfect something to it.

Something you should definitely read to children! This book captures the confusing yet scary feelings we all face at some point and it shows ways to overcome them. It's so important for kids to be able to recognize and find ways to embrace it not ignore it! Fantastic parts for the parents to reflect on as well.

The coziest of cozy fall-imbued stories. Now keeping in mind this is a middle-grade read, we're left with a beautifully crafted story that could get anyone in the autumn feels. Cats, magic, and adventure? Yes, please. Did I mention the cats TALK? It's a sweet tale of magic gone wrong and our main characters' journey to fix it. This time the deadline means the sweet little cats will pay the price! Intriguing in its own right, they also have a great fashion sense! The perfect makings of the story to withstand time. The melancholy our girl Elsby faces with her mom gone is something many will connect to immediately.
