Rooney’s style of writing flows so smoothly, from prose to dialogue, the flashbacks fit in perfectly within the narrative and it was un-put-down-able! Cannot wait for what’s next! 

A meditation on life in the 21st Century, Haig encapsulates the beauty of human experience, while also acknowledging the less positive aspects of the interconnected and tech-heavy society we live in and how that affects us and our interactions on a personal level.
Plenty of helpful reminders when you need a reality check, tips for coping with supermarkets and an awareness of the true priorities in life, whatever they might be to each individual.
Reading this before bed for a month helped me get back into reading, calm myself down and centre my thoughts before sleeping.
Thank you for your hard work and I cannot wait to see what’s next from you.

Really fun read, it’s possible to jump in at any moments but also carries a storyline through it which was nice to read. I now need to make a pilgrimage to The Book Shop 

Wonderfully written, whimsical and full of history in a time of brewing politics pre WW2. Would recommend to anyone interested in reading about Suffragettes in the interwar period!

Fantastic debut collection by Elisa Matvejeva. The poetry is succinct, raw and emotionally charged. Her phrasing is unique and very visual, situation scenarios in her poems feel so real they could be happening in front of me.

I also love the design and production choices. The cover illustration and inside drawings are stunning and compliment the poetry and the format of the poems is very well executed.

I cannot wait to see what Elisa published next!

I expected a different story from the blurb. The narrator was unreliable, the supporting characters were unimaginative and there wasn’t much plot. The writing itself was thoughtful and imaginative and well written. 

Naive, shallow and plays into the stereotypes of millennials as anxious, introverted and misanthropic. No resolution and felt like the author was writing self-grafitying fantasy.
