Really loved the book, but was not fucking with the romance plot between the 17 year old and 23 year old. The story could have standed on its own without the romance, and there was no reason for the 17 year old to be that young. He literally could have been 19 or older and it would not have changed a single thing. 

The actual vampire aspects of the novel were great! I enjoyed the worldbuilding, and the narrator did an amazing job bringing the story to life. But I genuinely was so side tracked by Not-Enjoying the romance plot, that it genuinely had me stopping the audiobook and having to take breaks from annoyance.

Was cute but I looked up the age gap at the end of vol 1 and I will not be continuing because of it. 

Left me with a sinking feeling in my stomach. I kind of loved this short story.
