The illustrations were beautiful and the message behind the story is heartwarming.
I wanted to remain objective as much as possible as I read. This is one of the books required to read for my YA Literature class this semester. I always thought that this book was about aliens and in a way it is. It is about being alienated in a world where it has already deems you who you are by how much you have.
I didn't expect to cry at all, but the last couple of paragraphs broke me. From Johnny's letter to Ponyboy's determination to tell his story.
I can definitely see why this book is beloved (aside from all the ugly bit from the author's character as of late). It is truly a timeless story about a boy and his journey to discovery what it means to be you no matter what society has already painted you to be.

Beck is me and you and every girl who has ever had trouble letting go of a boy whose familiarity is hard to forget.
I could see myself in Beck and I just loved how relatable Dawn's characters are.
* I will edit later with some of my favorite lines!

I've listened to this entire series and you know it's good when you laugh, cry, gasp. I love Julia Whelan's narration of the characters. Every single character is distinguishable. Her accents are precise and true to the country. Whelan's compelling voice made it easy to fall in love with the story.
Maggie's Hall conclusion to the Conspiracy of Us series does not disappoint. The world is lush, dangerous, intriguing. I couldn't believe the revelations and the betrayals. I felt so much sympathy for Avery with all the loses she's endured. I felt so proud of her in the moments when she was emotionally brave and strong. I felt so giddy with her romance with a certain boy (I won't say who but it was so sweet!).
I loved every single second of this novel and I highly recommend to those who love mystery, traveling, and swoon-worthy moments.

A heartfelt and darkly humorous account of what's it like to be a young Indian boy on the cusp of adolescence.
I never read this book as a pre-teen but I did see the movie and absolutely loved it. The movie was like a direct reflection of the book and I couldn't help but see Shia LaBeouf as Stanley Yelnats.
It's a quick, easy read about a boy's unknowing redemption, self-discovery, and the power of destiny.

I loved this so much. My heart hurt for Marji at times and my heart swelled with pride and admiration at her rebellion. This book shows you the life of a girl growing up during the Islamic Revolution. It is filled with knowledge, strength, and family.
I highly recommend this for everyone to read.
