Magical. Extraordinary. Breathtaking. The Raven King was a beautifully crafted end to a captivating series. I cried as the inevitable truth of death and of hope, no matter how small, came to be. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to the wonderfully vivid characters Stiefvater has intricately woven to fit so perfectly in a world where magic exists. I will carry a little piece of Henrietta and of Cabeswater forever and I will never forget Blue and her Raven Boys.

I thoroughly enjoyed the new spin to Holmes and Stoker. My favorite bits were Mina Holmes deduction reasoning. It flowed seamlessly. I also adored Evaline's narrative and I deduce that we haven't fully discovered her secrets. I'll definitely be continuing the series!

This book is good but not amazing as it's being praised for. Zenith is a good start to a uniquely vast world. My main issue with the story is how much information is given in such a small amount of time. I love world building and the authors don't take much time in explaining the world and its many planets. Instead, the world is just made up of pretty words with little to no backstory.

I do like the characters and believe that they have a lot of potential.

I may contain the series as it is interesting.

I picked up an ARC of this book at ALA '14.

Ghost House is a page-turning read with moments of suspense and mysteries surrounding Grange Hall. I liked the book. I enjoyed it. I found myself wanting to finish so that I could find out what lurked in the next chapter. The end was a cliffhanger and left me wanting more!

With that said, my main dislikes was the pacing and insta-love that reminded me of awfully cheese contemporary novels. There is nothing wrong with the trope but I felt it was misplaced and so so soon. I wanted a lot more character development surrounding the secondary characters. I also wanted a female protagonist that wasn't so scared of living, of taking action into her own hands rather than standing on the sidelines for majority of the story.

All in all, it was a good read. And that cliffhanger does make me want to read the sequel because HOW IS IT POSSIBLE WHAT HAPPENS.

I'll definitely be checking out the sequel when it hits shelves.

A cute, sappy, and fun book! I absolutely love Anna and her quirky personality; following her journey through Paris was captivating. There were times when I was reading and I just...I was lost in the words Perkins crafted.

I absolutely adored this! I <3 Étienne St. Clair.

Actual rating: 4.5 stars

Vicious is thrilling and intoxicating. Once I got threw the first hundred pages, this book gripped me and did not let go. Schwab blurs the line between bad and worse. There is no good, although the mention of a hero lingers in its pages and makes you question if there actually is a hero.

The characters are vibrant, full of life and dangerous gifts. I love how each character is different and has a sense of morality in their own right.

Vicious is a thriller that will have you mesmerized until the very last sentence.

Holly Black makes vampires frightening alluring!

I love LOVE loved this. It was so different!

A solid 3 stars for me. The premise of the novel is interesting with an eighteen year old girl as the world's best assassin. However, the story falls short with a slow incline of action. It was hard to read it because it ineffectively grasped my attention. I did enjoy the short chapters - that made it better.

All in all, it was a good read. Perhaps someone who likes fantasy more than I will greatly enjoy this book. As for me, I will consider continuing this series as I do want to know what happens to Celaena.
