I was instantly drawn to the prospect of modernizing Shakespeare plays! I really enjoyed Kate as a character as she was head strong and indignant. What I wanted was to get more of Kate transitioning into that "tamed" character. There was almost no character development in that regard except for a few charming smiles to her soon-to-be husband.

Vinegar Girl is a fun, light, and quick read.

I adored Natalie and her tale of love and time and how love is the strongest thing there is.

I simply adore Fiona and the Pack. This was a whirlwind adventure full of unbelievable twists and turns. It's the right kind of superhero book.

I really loved Reena's narration and how the story is told in a before and after sequence. I loved how the story moves forward with a steady crescendo to some major revelations, decisions, and happenings.

What I didn't like is Sawyer. But at the same time, Reena is a little at fault for that. She put Sawyer on this pedestal that he couldn't possibly reach. However, this aspect is what makes it relatable and alarmingly close to human nature.

I honestly don't know what to think but I did like the story immensely. If I did not, I wouldn't have finished it in less than 24 hrs.

Lastly, I think the blurbs are misleading. This isn't a love story, not in the sense that it ought to be.

...and I'm crying. The last two chapters broke my heart and put it back together all in the same breath.

While reading, I forgot the world. I was so immersed in the story that everything else disappeared.

A truly, beautiful, and captivating story about family, love, and second chances.

I liked Carter's interpretation of the Greek gods and Kate's place in that world. However, at times, I felt like it was too juvenile. I did like the story and plot a lot. I never saw the twisting coming or suspected it until a chapter or two before it was revealed. My favorite parts were between Kate and Henry.

I'm looking forward to the next installment!

DNFing this because life is too short to spend on books that don't capture my interest.

A story about love, defiance, and sacrifice. Lena's story will leave you immersed in her world for days. It left me wondering what is in her future, as well as the future of those she loves.

If you're a fan of the dystopian, Delirium is a book to check out!
