Honestly?
LOVED IT!
Who wouldn't?
The first chapter opens up with Ky's perspective, and I think I squealed at first...then I was saddened by what he has been exposed to since we last saw him being dragged away by the Officals. One thing hasn't left him though and it's his love for Cassia; his determination that matches hers to find one another. Once they do (oh and it's such a bittersweet moment when it happens!) they both need to make choices. Love drove them to find each other, but will their own dreams tear them apart?
Ahh...sorry can't tell you! You'll just have to read it for yourself!
One thing I can say for sure is that you will be begging for more once to story ends! :)

Meg Cabot is the "IT" author for young adult books, and every since I read her Mediator series when I was thirteen....well, I just completely fell in love with her writing and the books themselves. With that said - I began to read Shadowland again, and I utterly loved it! Cabot's writing style is still fresh to read and the story is filled with action, humor, and a bit of romance. You can't help but love the protagonist Suze for her witty and creative dialogue. Plus, there is a hot ghost living in her bedroom....who wouldn't love that?
All in all...I just completely love the book and I can't wait to finish the rest of her series again so I can recall all the events that lead up to the amazing conclusion! :D

Need I say more? :)
There were so many funny lines in this book, but I picked two to share with you!
"I may have been dead for the past one hundred and fifty years, Susannah, but that doesn't mean I don't know how people say goodnight. And generally, they keep their tongue to themselves."
Score! Way to embarrass poor Suze, Jesse.
The next is dialogue between Jesse and Suze :P
Jesse: Cat. This is Susannah. Susannah, meet the cat.
Suze: Spike.
Jesse: I beg your pardon?
Suze: Spike. That cat's name is Spike.
Jesse: That is a terrible name for a cat.
Haha :P Seriously, keep reading the series if you loved the first book! It's not disappointing and filled with a lot of witty and humorous story telling by your favorite protagonist! :D

The exciting conclusion to Meg Cabot's The Mediator series couldn't have been more beautifully written than Twilight. From the very start there is a new concept or "power" that Suze is learning about. The ability to travel to the fourth dimension. Then there is the whole thing about Paul wanted to help, but in reality he wants to take Jesse away from Suze even if his actions are moral. Suze - caught in the middle - only wants to have Jesse in her life, but he's a ghost - what kind of life could he possibly give her? That is the question that is constantly repeated and answered towards the end when Suze chooses what she didn't want, but sees that it's the right thing.
Now, I'm not going to tell you, but I will say that it's an extraordinary ending. One that left me crying for five minutes in my bedroom because it was just amazing.
I definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves spunky girl protagonist's, action, romance, and a bit of mystery! I swear that you will not be disappointed because Meg Cabot is truly a master crafter for young adult fiction :)
