My heart is full and empty, relieved and tensed... beating so fast and stopping all the time. This story is everything ♥️ I already loved so much Rebecca Ross' writing and this book just confirmed her talent... playing with words, stories and feelings is a big responsibility and she assumed it fully. I loved Roman through Iris' eyes and I feared for Iris through Roman's eyes... I can't wait for the sequel to discover what happens to my beloved lovers ❤️

I started this book many months ago as an audio book... but I found out this reading way isn’t for me as I loved the story but I couldn't focus enough just listening to it... I finally got the ebook and then everything changed : I jumped fully into the story and felt like I, too, was there with Monique listening to this incredible journey Evelyn has been through. I felt all sort of emotions from joy to pride to heartbreak but at the end, I can just say I love the author's writing and I really felt all along like it was a true story I witnessed from my coach... 

What a story! I have to admit I was a little tense throughout my reading... I couldn't stop because I absolutely wanted to know what happened next! The characters are well-defined and their story brilliantly blends magic, love and the mistakes we can make when trying to protect those we love. The writing is fluid and the story moves along fairly quickly, making it easy to read. I really like the way the central theme (magic) is tackled. The only downside for my taste was that the story was perhaps a little too emotionally focused at times, even though this aspect obviously plays an important part in the story.

I always like the worlds that Martha Wells is creating as they are originals and full of mysteries (like this one !). I enjoyed the different characters and especially their specificities which were very well described and creative. I only gave 4 stars as I can't see images when I read a description and I felt there were too much "unuseful" informations sometimes (landscapes descriptions for example). But overall that was a nice journey through a very interesting world!

I really liked this book more than the first two. The writing is as delicate as the 2 first books but the story really evolved into something meaningful and the characters revealed themselves. I love how the author worked on describing how the characters became their better selves and the ending is so perfect after such an epic journey. 

Wow... I had no expectations for this book as I went in totally unaware of the story as I was trying to decide if I would buy The Bookish Box book 2 special edition. But what a blast (and YES I'll definitely buy the sequel)!!!! I loved everything in this story from the storyline to the world building. I'm already soooo attached to the main characters (can we talk about Rain? ♥️) and the first book finished on a heartbreaking cliffhanger that left me with such an emptiness right now... Be prepared for an incredible journey if you decide to start this book! Oh! And... it's definitely an adult book 🌶

What a pleasure to find Sophie Kinsella's delicate, funny writing again! This story follows in the footsteps of her style, which I love so much : far from perfect characters in a story full of emotion, twists and turns and... lots of love. Even the house feels like a character in its own right, so alive does it seem!

What a pleasure to read a little more about Vassia and her incredible adventure... she's such a free spirit full of life and stubbornness! I love this universe between old Russian tales and a magical world where demons can be so... humans! I definitely will read the last book of this trilogy soon! I just feel like the writing is a little too complicated for me but it's so in line with a traditional tale telling! 

What a thrilling adventure! So much mysteries, tension and... magic! The perfect ingredients when they are added to a fluid writing for a journey you never want to finish! I definitely can't wait for the next book and learn even more about this mysterious magic and the power of gods. 

I loved this story...full of magic, love and a real journey to tolerance. The characters are evolving at their own pace... some understanding at the beginning what is the most important... and some still have some things to understand! The writing is quite easy to read and the universe of the story smells like a spice market! It was a really great discovery!
