I must say that I totally fell in love with this story! The beginning of this book was a little different from the first one but pages after pages I just couldn't stop wondering what could happen next... and never guessed right, what I love the most in a story : not being able to guess the end. Now... let's start book 3!

I loooooooove this story!!!!! I can't believe how amazing Elfhame is... the way the author describes it is just some kind of magic for sure! I just couldn't put this book down and now I'm so impatient to start the next one! This is definitely gonna be one of my favorites! 

What a strange story! Full of mysteries, legends, tension and... some sort of magic the way words are stuck in my mind now! I really loved how original it is but I would say it's best to read it when your mind is at the right place as some parts of the story may trigger your brain if your mental is not strong... but really a great story to discover! 

I really like this universe full of mysteries and well-constructed drama... the characters are so... special! Signa and Death are just the ultimate love story for a romantic soul as mine... I can't wait for the 3rd book to be published!

I usually get bored at some point when I read a serie... it never happened for this one. I couldn't stop wondering what could possibly happen next and the story was thrilling page after page! I'm a little sad to leave Tisaanah and Max but I'm definitely glad I've met them! 

Let's say it out loud : I hate when a book stops on a cliffhanger! But I'm quite glad the serie is finished so I can jump right now in the last book and discover what happens to the main characters! I really like this universe and the plot in this second book is really full of suspense! Even if I hate how it ends... I loved it... or to be more precise : I loved to hate it! 

I really enjoyed this story and I'm glad I finally started reading Carissa's books as I have many of hers on my TBR... and now that I've discovered how she writes and how much I like it, I'm definitely diving further into this serie! I loved everything in this book : the characters, the world building, the story, how it's often centered on emotions (that's something I really enjoy) and... the suspense at the end that makes me want to read the next one right now! 

This was the most emotional book of the serie... once again, same story but totally different atmosphere and I LOVED it! Yes... I cried a little bit... several times... but it was worth it! The serie has a true end and I'll probably cherish Lila, Kell, Rhy and Alucard for a while! 

What an exciting journey this second book was! The story was quite different than the first book but in the same world and with the same characters... and honestly that must be what I like the most in V.E. Schwab's writing : the style is the same but the stories are so different from each other and it's always really a surprise to discover another dimension in her creative mind. I can't wait to start book 3 right now! 

It's always such a surprising journey to read V.E. Schwab books and this one is no exception! I loved the originality of this story (I mean... parallel worlds is such a great perspective!) and I definitely can't wait to read the next book to jump back in this universe! I guess I'm on my way to read all her books as I loved each one I've read... even if they are so different from each other!
