As always, Sarah J. Maas did an amazing work with the world building, the characters and the story! I think the Crescent City serie is my favorite written by her and this last book is just what I needed! A great reading, definitely!

A cute story that focus on hope, friendship, love and evolution... so sweet to read when you're searching for something light and positive. I enjoyed it a lot and will definitely read the sequel :-)

As usual, Hazelwood's story is a little bubble of lightness, love and laugh! I choose her books when I need something sweet and this book definitely reached its goal! I loved jumping into the chess' world and discovering Nolan's personality (as well as Mallory but she was less mysterious than him 😉). Definitely a great reading for romantic love's addicts!

I'll never get bored of Rebecca Ross' writing. It touches my heart straight after the first few words and all the way to the last page... just like only music (and love) can do it! This story is another sweet melody to my soul as I loved to learn more about Iris and Roman... and I just enjoyed their journey of love and resilience through the worst of time... That's definitely another masterpiece for me ✨️ 

Another masterpiece from Maas! I must admit that I thought I couldn't love a serie more than ACOTAR but it seems like Crescent City easily jumped to first place with this book! I love everything in it : the world that is a mix between modern and "mystic", the characters who are so well described that I can almost anticipate their reactions, the writing that is so fluid that it made me forget I was reading... well... 5 stars for this one of course!

This was exactly what I needed right now : dark romance, a morally grey powerful man, a little bit of violence but not too much... that's what the never after serie is here for! I love the main characters even if I feel like Michael's personality is still a little blurry... but the focus is definitely not on him so why care 🤷 

What a pleasure to read another S.J. Maas story! I forgot how exciting they are... I definitely fell into this new universe quite instantly even if the world building was intense... the characters are so... authentic... that I loved to love them... or loved to hate them! I lost a few tears in the process but the journey was totally worth it! I can't wait to read book 2 !!! 

I really struggled to read this one to the end... the story is really great and original but I guess the narrative style isn't my cup of tea :-) Overall, I would recommend this book to dreamers who like very descriptive stories and some magic... 

I'm definitely in love with this serie that is now on my top 3 favorite series ever! The second book is filled with the same energy as the first one with tensed adventures and some love/friendship all the way. I love how the characters have their own personality and how the story shows how their bonds are growing. I can't wait for book 3 to be published and I know for sure that I'll read it right when it's out! 

I've always enjoyed Elif Shafak's stories... they are so powerful... and somehow raw in the sense of true authenticity. And this one follows the same pattern! Usually I don't enjoy so much back and forth in the time writings but this one seemed... natural! The characters are loveable and somehow it's really enjoyable to read fiction with some historical realities...
