falling off i used to love this series but this book lost the nuance and tension of balancing life as a single mother and placed characters in the confines of a police academy. i just wanted it were more creative or compelling. again remind me how the main villain was killing individuals that the lack luster police force couldn’t put in prison but we spent this entire book learning from said police force. i just didn’t enjoy
