I tried with this book. I really did. But I've learned that I just don't enjoy magical realism. I think this book had a lot going for it and it could have been IT for me, but it just missed the mark. I got to about 60% before I decided to call it quits. What I will say though, is that I love Marie Lu's writing and I will definitely check out her other books.

I'm not gonna write a full review for this, but I was literally so annoyed and bored. I watched The Princess bride a few days ago for this book, but I felt like I was reading the Princess Bride, just gender bent. I could care les about the characters, and did I mention I was bored. It also felt very repetitive too. Oh well

I really don’t like this at all. I don’t like the writing, I don’t like where the story is going, and it seems like their might be a love triangle (*gags*) and I could care less about any of the characters. I’m just not about to finish a book I don’t like

I'm not going to write a very long review for this--mainly because its a graphic novel--but I will say that you should read this graphic novel sometime in your life. Their are 3 stories in this graphic novel, and the way they all intertwine and share the same message is the best thing about this. This book wanted to show you a certain message, and it succeeded in doing so greatly. Also the art style was awesome. Go check this one out at some point

Aww I loved this! I’m not gonna write a whole review because it’s a graphic novel, but this was such a sweet book about friendship, but also the mystery and supernatural elements were top tier in this! Really excited for book 2!
