I’m literally tearing up. This book is one of my new favorites, and I love it so much!

Our main characters are Annie Mavers and Clay (Jefferson) Coolidge, and their both country music stars. Annie’s parents had been famous before dying and coming out of the spotlight, and Clay started up his music career for himself after the death of his brother. Clay had always been a country music bad boy, and since Annie was so holesome and pure, they took her and her band on tour with Clay.

I love Annie and Clay soo much! Their chemistry was undeniable and very sweet. I think the way they interacted together was honestly incredible and I loved them.

I loved all the characters personalities, even if they got boring at times. I genuinely loved the whole country music concept idea. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed reading about it, and I just loved it so much.

So, I give this book 5/5 stars because of how much I loved the characters and plot line. This is genuinely one of my new favorites, and I can’t express how much I love it.

REVIEW TO COME (sorry about all the books without reviews. I’m not feeling inspired to write at all atm)

THIS BOOK HAS ME FRICKING FRICK!

I loved this book so much. I can't really say much because it's a sequal, but I'll express my love and joy for it,

I loved that we got a more complicated, twistier, and full story line in this book. It added a lot onto 'The Raven Boys', and made the series more interesting. The concept and premise was very original and unexpected and I was very engrossed in the characters.

Speaking of characters, the characters ARE AMAZING. I love them all so much (except Adam. He's SOOO ANNOYING IN THIS BOOK). And the characters are so well written and thawed out in this book. They got more concept, premise, and character personality and development. I was loving Ronan more and more by the second of reading this.

I can't really say much else much due to the fact that I'll spoil, but if you have already read 'The Raven Boys' and enjoyed it or didn't love it, I'd still read this. It's so much better and thawed out, and I STRONGLY recommend.

I-I don't know what to say. These books are MASTERPIECES! - FINISHED 9/28/19

THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET.

While I really can't say much about this book because I don't want to spoil the others, IT WAS THE BEST ONE YET.

THE STORYLINE WAS SO GOOD IN THIS BOOK. I loved it so much. And I loved the characters even more. Adam was a lot better in this book, and I wanna turn gay for Ronan.

ALSO I'M STILL A WHORE FOR GANSEY. IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO HIM I WILL BALL MY EYES OUT. Noah is still a fucking ghost, AND GANSEY AND BLUE FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR DAMN FEELINGS. LET ME GO CHEER IN MY GOD DAMN CORNER!

NOW IF YOU'LL EXCUSE ME, I'LL JUST BE QUAKING OVER THAT DAMN ENDING BECAUSE WOW!

This book was SOOOO GOOD.

Ok yes ‘The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer’ has flaws, but I still REALLY enjoyed this book.

It was thrilling, captivating, mysterious and jus plain right weird.

I loved the story so much. It was so weird and absolutely obscured and nothing like I’d ever read before.

I really like the characters too. Mara is such an unreliable narrator and such an odd person. But I still loved her character. I also really liked Noah’s character. And their ‘powers’ were so odd and interesting.

Look I’d give this book a 5 stars but their were definitely flaws and moments where I cringed so hard I thought I needed an exorcism. But I still loved the story and characters most of the time so my rating is quite high for that. Also for my enjoyment just because this but was so unique.

Definitely recommend if your looking for a slightly trashy paranormal romance, or a creepy, thrilling, suspenseful story.

This was unfortunately, not my favorite. I don’t know if it was the country barrier (these characters are Irish) or if it was just the way the book was written. However, I just couldn’t get into or relate to these characters at all. They’re so immature, and this is another case of Teenagers Don’t Act Like This. I also just couldn’t relate to either of these characters.

There was obviously going to be a point where I wasn’t going to relate to them. I’m white and I’m not apart of Bengali culture nor am I Muslim. But I had no problem with that part of the story at all. I love to diversify my reading, and learn more about different cultures and religions (which I actually did when reading this). My issue with these characters was that they were both popular, which wasn’t relatable in the slightest lol. Not only was it not relatable, but it also was really boring to read, especially because the entire plot of the book centered around making one of the characters become popular. And I just didn’t really care?

Like the romance was cute enough, but I just had so many issues with this story. The abusive parental figures, the biphobia that the main character just takes because she wants to have friends, the fact all the other women in this story were villains? I don’t know how to feel about this story really. I enjoyed the beginning the most, and as the book went on, the conflicts just got more outrageous and nonsensical. I feel like if I read this story in middle school I would have loved it. It really does read a lot younger to me.

This book was really enjoyable and cute. I really liked the characters, and plot. While I thought they would be more adventure and potentially even magic, it was still really sweet. Nothing wrong with it.

DNF AT PG. 79.

I just can’t get into this one, which is sosodisappointing, because this was a 5 star prediction for me. But I just haven’t enjoyed anything I’ve read yet, and the plot is so slow. I’m already almost 100 pages in, and this book is quite short as it is. So I’m just going to dnf unfortunately. I’ve tried to push through this, but it’s been sitting on my ”currently reading” shelf for a month, so I think it’s time to give up. ):

Maybe straight people aren’t so bad.
