”I want to stop feeling so lost. How do I find myself again? Show me the way.”
I absolutely adored this story so so much. I loved just following Dani, from seeing her doing everyday, mundane things to her huge amounts of characters growth throughout the story. The romance wasn’t even really the part of the story I was most concerned about, I just loved Dani and seeing her learn to live again. This story was so so good, and I literally read it in two sittings. I cannot wait to read more from this author, this is definitely one of my favorite books I’ve read this year.

This second installment to the Mara Dyer trilogy was SO good.
The story was interesting and inthralling, the characters were better, the development was great, and the SEXUAL TENSION! Can we talk about the sexual tension?
I was blushing and getting MAJOR butterflies from reading the steamier scenes in this book!
I’m highly anticipated for the sequel, and I really enjoyed this.

THIS REVIEW IS KINDA SPOILERY BUT NOT ENOUGH TO PUT ON SPOILERS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Look it wasn’t as great as ‘The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer’ or ‘The Evolution of Mara Dyer’ but it’s still a good novel. It’s still Mara. It’s still out same, humorous characters, our same plot, and same theme and level of ‘spooky’
WHAT I LIKE
• Finding our more about Mara and why she is the way she is. As well as Noah. It was a very interesting concept on how Michelle Hodkin took this route, but I enjoyed it and it was fun.
• The action. Their is a lot of action-packed scenes and things in this novel and it made the story more fun.
• CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT WAS HERE ALL THROUGHOUT THE NOVEL
• Learning more about the past. It was a very fun, shocking, and confusing time.
• Jamie’s humor. Jesus can I get it?
• THE SEXUAL TENSION! It’s always their between Mara and Noah and I always get butterflies! Super well written.
• AND THE ENDING! THE ENDING WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
• How long the novel dragged on!
• How much I actually cried

This was so fucking cute. Day 6 of reading 31 books in 31 days
I understand why people didn’t like this, but to me this was very fun and highly entertaining
Learning that my grandma read Julie Garwood back in the day was...an interesting experience to say the least. Anyways, hi. Yeah I loved this book. This is one of the best historical romances I’ve ever read, and I loved it so much. Our heroine Judith is amazing, and our hero is so hot. This book is pretty old, and still manages to not be cheesy or make me cringe. Bless the historical romance Gods for this almighty gift. Ok, I’m done
