Thank you @torbooks @macmillan.audio for a copy of this sweet story. It's a retelling of Pinocchio told in the form of Victor, the only human on earth who is raised by robots. The robots in this story are so fun and the sarcasms of Nurse Ratched was such a hoot. The narration was so amazing with the different voices for each character. With the increase usage of AI and machine learning, it scary that maybe one day robots will take over.

Thank you @celadonbooks @macmillan.audio for a copy of this book. This book starts with the death of William, the patriarch and a big secret is revealed. The story is told in how each family member deals with the death as well as the aftermath. It was tough to follow on audio because there are so many characters with the multi generation. Once you get it straightened out, I enjoyed the story.

This was a great book about Aly,who is over work and was forced to take a month of leave. She goes to visit her deceased brother's cabin and learns she owns the cabin with her brother's BFF. I love how this turned from enemies to lovers and the healing process for Aly.

Thank you @williammorrowbooks @bibliolifestyle for a copy of Porcelain Moon. This was an interesting aspect of history that I wasn't aware of in regards to Chinese working in France during the war. I love how the story was told about Pauline, a Chinese living with her uncle in France and her relationship with her uncle and cousin, Theo. There's so much in the story from forbidden love, to following your passion. A beautiful story.

Thank you @berkleyromance @prhaudio for a copy of this audiobook. This was a steamy romance between Cassie and Aidan, her employer who is a DILF. We see Their attraction and I love the relationship with Aidan's daughter, Sophie. We also see flashback of Cassie as Cici, an Only Fan performer with her favorite client, A. These flash back were spicy!! I love that the story focused on struggle of being a single parent and Aidan's priority with Sophie. Cassie's BFF, Wanda, adds a fun element to the story.

I always enjoy Sariah Wilson's books and this one was no exception. A fun book with women in STEAM and a fake dating trope. I enjoyed the practice dates Marco and Anna went on.

I loved this book so much. Emily Henry did such a great job bringing out all the emotions with Happy Place. This was a second chance romance that is told in past and present timeline. I love seeing how Wyn and Harriet romance developed and felt the pain when it fell apart. There is a lot of angst in the story and funny moments to balance it out. I also love the circle of friends as college students then as grown adults. As always; Julia Whalen does a fabulous job with narration.

Thank you @smpromance @netgalley for a copy of this book.

This is a second chance about Harper and Ryan both journalist that becomes co-workers 11 years later. I enjoyed the dual timeline and the opposites attract between them. This is a slow burn and lots of bickering between the two. At parts, I was a bit annoyed at Harper how she treats Ryan at the office. Ryan was so quietly attentive to Harper's needs that you just want to shake her and wake up to him. Overall, a fun romance.

A book with second chance romance set with a wedding planner...I am in! The story is told in past and present timelines and dual POV. I enjoyed the flashback and seeing how Elliot and Ama's relationship developed and was curious as to what led to the end. I wanted more relationship development in the present timeline to buy their reconnection. I love Elliot and how thoughtful he was past and present. Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorites and Callie Dalton both did a great job with the narration.

I read anything Kennedy Ryan writes and have enjoyed her novella, The Close-up, and loved it. This was a fun second chance romance but it lacked the emotional depth that I love from her books. I think I would have loved this more if this was a full blown story. The narration was great and I love the music included as well.
