The follow up to The Kind Worth Killing did not disappoint. We are back with Henry, a PI, who is being hired by an old student to catch her husband cheating. The story just get twisty from there. You wonder who is the villain and what is happening. It kept me guessing and so entertained.

I loved the first book and saw that Millie is back, I had to read this. Although this can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the first one to get a better understanding of Millie. The story is twisty and crazy and I was happy to see Enzo again. Just a fun thriller to Indulge!

Thank you @berkleyromance @prhaudio for a copy of this audiobook.

If you love sunshine/grump and fake dating, this one is for you. Penny is looking to become a familiar with a witch but jobs are scare. Along comes Willem who is not allowed to take on a familiar because of a punishment and hires her in secret but must put a farce on why they are together. I love how Penny is so loving and full of life and Willem is so reserved and the magic they create. This one was a lot of fun and I am here for the steam. I love how seeing Reggie and Ben appearing in this book too.

Thank you to the publisher for providing a copy of this book. If you are looking for a book with someone questioning their sexuality, this one is for you. Overall, I enjoyed it but thought Luna was way too obsessed with saying she was a virgin and what constitutes sex. I enjoyed her friendship with Romy and how supportive Romy was with Luna's sexuality. I didn't see this as an age age 24 vs 28 between Valeria and Luna but there was a lot of focus on this in the book. There is a love triangle in the story which I am not a fan of.

This was an amazing audio production with parts of the chapters narrated as traditional audiobooks with other sections with duet narration and sound effects which brought the story to life.

I love that this story is told in Charlie's POV, who has autism and works at a deli. I love how the story unfolded with wanting to know what does Charlie really know.

I love the Bergman series and this one focus on Ziggy finding her own self. She decides to form a fake friendship with bad boy hockey player, Sebastian, who plays on LA Kings with her brother. I love how honest Ziggy is and how easy it is to fall in love with her. The tension between Ziggy and Sebastian is off the charts, I was dying for them to get together. I love seeing both of their growth journey and also the Bergman clan. I am so bummed we only have 1 sibling left in the series.

Thank you @sourcebookcasa @dreamscape_media @netgalley for a copy this book. Ellie escapes to a small town Montana as her life is at a crossroad and all things break loose when the host needs help taking care of the property. She meets the host grandson, Warren, and there's mistrust and they must learn to figure out how to bear with each other. This felt more like women's fiction and Ellie figures out how to handle her family and Warren doing the same with his family. I didn't really buy their love story and wanted to see it develop.

Thank you @read_bloom @netgalley for a copy of Travis. After reading Archer, I wanted to learn more about Travis. We get to see how his parents actions affected Travis and who he is. With both Haven and Travis at the B and B, it was fun to see their friendship develop. I love how opposite they were and how much fun they had. Adding the residents of the B&B and seeing Archer and his family, this was an enjoyable follow up.

Thank you @smpromance @macmillan.audio @netgalley for a copy of this. This is part of A Brush series with this one focusing on Indira who moves in with her brother when she discovers her boyfriend in a compromising position with someone else. She is forced to be with Jude who also is staging with her brother. I love how their enemy to lovers story. What I appreciate is that both Jude and Indira both have issues and needed personal growth. The journey was realistic and the fake dating creating such great tension between them.

Thank you @avonbooks for a copy of this book. This was a fun rom com about Lily, a semi-famous writer that discovers she missed a few credits and never graduated from college. Lily goes back is paired with a bubbly roommate and her BFF visits and enjoys Lily's second chance in college. Lily's TA is her college sweetheart and must decide how to act with him. I enjoyed the flash back and the shenanigans Lily gets into this time around in college. I enjoyed the women's empowerment focus on the story as well. I didn't really buy the second chance romance between Jake and Lily but did not impact my enjoyment.
