So happy to be back in Sparrow Falls, this time we have Arden and Linc. Arden is part of the Colson family and Linc is one of Arden's brother's best friend.

What I love about this series is the found family of the Colson clan and how much they love each other and the funny group texts. Both Linc and Arden have issues that keeps them at a distance from people and I love how they helped each other out.

As like the other books, I love seeing Lolli and the humor she adds to the story. I enjoyed the suspense of the story and how that played out.

Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor did a fantastic job on the narration.

Thank you @prhaudio @riverheadbooks for a copy of the audiobook.

There is a lot that I enjoyed with this story. Set in the 70s during summer camp, Barbara goes missing who is the daughter of the camp grounds family - Van Laar's. The investigation brings up all sorts of suspects and motivations.

The story is also told about 15 years earlier with the disappearance of Bear, Barbara's brother. I enjoyed both timeline and was curious what happened to both of them.

I did have a hard time following the story with the multiple timeline and so many perspectives. The story is very slow burn and lost my interest at parts. Saskia Maarleveld did a great job setting the darkness of the camp.

A runaway groomsman got my attention. Sawyer ran away like Cinderella with only 1 shoe from the wedding of his former best friend and girlfriend to a small town and stays at a run down cabins. Here he meets Fallon who runs the cabin and ends up staying to escape from his current situation.

Sully, Fallon's grandfather, stole the show for me. He was a little grumpy with signs of dementia. I loved how Sawyer befriended him and begin taking on tasks around the cabin.

This was a little love triangle which is not my favorite. I do appreciate how Fallon and Sawyer got to know each other with the slowest burn.

Samantha Brentmoor, Alastair Haynesbridge both did a great job with narration.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this audiobook. I have never read Huckleberry Finn but familiar with the plot. Thjs was such an interesting take with the story in the same timeline but told from Jame's POV who is a slave on the run after hearing that he would be sold.

This story was so engaging and a fresh take on a classic and how Blacks were treated and all that Jim endured. The intelligence of Jim and how he survived during this time was so well told. There are some parts that was heartbreaking and sadly how Blacks were treated.

Dominic Hoffman did a fantastic job bringing this story to life.

Reading a love story from 8 years ago and still relevant is my favorite type of stories. Natalie and Hunter meets at a friend's wedding and ends up with one special night . They live on each side of the country and don't meet again until they reconnected to the same couple having a baby.

This was a slow burn romance and loved them together. This friends with benefits turned lovers was so well done. I love how they both put up walls to protect themselves and it was broken down.

Sebastian York and Andi Arndt are two of my favorite narrators and they did a great job with this story.

This was a cute YA romance with Piper that has a family secret about finding true love. Piper has out a lot of pressure on herself with wanting to help the family business, mend her parents' broken marriage and find her true love. She meets Forest and has an instant connection.

The story follows Piper and her 2 friends and how they navigate their friendship as well as first love. It's a bit of a love triangle and the story is predictable but cute.

Thank you @wednesdaybooks for a copy of this.

Cannon was the perfect off limits best friend's older grumpy brother. Cary is the opposite and the two doesn't seem to have much in common. They were so perfect together with the banter between the two. I also enjoyed Cannon's family dynamics and how close they were. I didn't read the other books in this series yet and will go back and read them now to get a better sense of the family.

I am not a big fan of surprise baby trope but this came pretty late in the story and their relationship was well developed that I didn't mind.

Angelina Rocca and Jack Calihan did a great job bringing the story to life.

This series is so much fun. We have Hudson who employs his BFF's little sister. They go to a meeting and Sloan ends up being a stand in bridesmaid for a wedding in England and they agree to have a marriage of convenience to save Hudson's business deal.

Hudson and Sloan was a lot of fun together with the events leading up to the wedding. There is strong attraction and Hudson did his best to resist. I was at times annoyed with both of them with their behavior. I was also not a fan of Hudson's dad's behavior. It was so extreme and it was resolved a bit too easily.

You get all the silliness you expect from Quinn's writing and this was one slow burn. It was fun to see the other characters from the series appear in the story too.

Vanessa Edwin, Jason Clarke both did a great job bringing all the humor to life.

Thank you @prhaudio @berkelyromance for a copy of this sapphic romance. Set in beautiful wine country, we have Avery who has gotten out of relationship and is bi-sexual curious and wasn't sure how to approach woman. She meets Taylor who offers her flirting lessons.

The lessons were fun and I enjoyed seeing Avery coming out of her shell. I felt bad for Taylor and how her friends constantly made fun of her lifestyle choice. The story was solid but told in POV that didn't feel as engaging.

Heidi Franklin did a good job with the narration.
