Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this book. This starts off with a campus shooting and focuses on Julia who saved her daughter in the shooting. The story is told in Julia and Ren's POV. Ren is a trained assassin along with her husband. The premise of the book is interesting and I love the strong badass women in the story. There are some great twists and betrayals that I didn't see coming.

You must read the first book before reading this. I love Lennox and Maxim and so happy to continue their journey. This was one intense story from the first chapter! I love seeing their journey together and how they support each other. Ryan is such an amazing writer and making you fall in love with the characters and bringing them to life.

I am so sad that this is the last Matthew's brothes and the series is coming to an end with Ryker's story. This was such a heartwarming story about Bryce and her nieces as they learn to become a family unit. The girls added so much to story and it really shows how hard it is to become a guardian. I love seeing the other Matthews brothers playing a big role in this story too. The growth journey for both Bryce and Ryker was so good.

Thank you @gallerybooks for a copy of this book. Kristin Hamel is one of my favorite historical fiction writers and this was such a heartbreaking story. The story starts with a chance meeting of Elise and Juliette and forms a friendship. The story centers around what you do for your children in the time of war. The sacrifices and heartbreak they both endured broke my heart. I enjoyed seeing how they survived and moved on and seeing them years later as well.

Thank you @berkleyromance @prhaudio @netgalley for a copy of this book. I adored this book about Clementine living in her late aunt's apartment which time travels her 7 years before and she meets Iwan who is sharing the apartment with her. I adore the 7 years ago interaction between the two and how you can see how their relationship developed. I wanted more current day romance between them, it felt like they were more at odds. This narration was great with all of the voices and I felt Clementine's pain in her grieving process with her aunt.

Thank you @minotaur_books @macmillan.audio @netgalley for a copy of this domestic thriller. This story centers on a well to do neighborhood in DC where Sam and Alexis just moved into an fixer upper. In addition, Alexis just gave birth to their second child and feeling lack of support from Sam who is on track to make partner. There is a murder in the neighborhood and things starts going little odd. The story is told from Alexis and Blair (who befriends Alexis and is a neighbor) and I enjoyed seeing how their friendship develops. The story is more about noisy neighbors and people that treat people poorly because of skin color and wealth. The story is a little slow and the bam! the ending gets you.

Thank you @bookmarked @netgalley for a copy of this book. This was a very deep thriller and I love that it explores the friendship between Abby, Chelsea and Bree. The story is told in present time line in Chelsea and Bree's POV and Abby's POV in the past. The book really delves in how the death of a friend can impact the living. It makes you ache for both of them and how they both suffer differently. I love this story explores first love, acceptance and LGTB.

Thank you @duttonbooks @prhaudio for a copy of this book. This book gave me a total Lizzie Borden vibe and I am here for it! I love Kit as the caretaker for Lenora who killed her family. The Hope House created such a creepy atmosphere to the story and I love how we learned about Kit and what led to her work suspension. The story is told in 1983 by Kit and the past by Lenora. I love how the story unfolded and there were some twists I don't see coming.

Thank you @JillShalvis for a copy of this heartwarming book. I always love books set in Lake Tahoe and a book with baked goods that sounds so tasty - I am in! This book is about Harper who is starting over in Lake Tahoe with opening a bakery and meets her landlord Brodie and they form an instant connection. We also meet Ivy, who is a teen that shows up and enters Harper's life and helps her with the bakery. I love how Harper and Ivy helped each other. I enjoyed the Brodie's family and how much they added to the story. Hambone was such a cute pup too!
