Thank you @bookmarked @orangeskyaudio @netgalley for a copy of this book. This was a story about Nora and Evelyn who are from different economic class and forms a friendship. The friendship takes a different turn when Evelyn offers to be a surrogate for Evelyn and Jacob who has been having trying to have a baby. I thought this book was interesting with exploration of privileged and forming a friendship where one has more financial freedom. The use of love for vintage designer clothes brought an interesting element to the story. I enjoyed the narration in Nora's POV.

This is my first book from this author and it won't be the last. The romance between Chloe and Warren was great but what I really love was their love for their siblings. I love how their support of each other turned into love. The found family in this was so good.

Thank you @putnambooks @prhaudio for a copy of this book. This book did not work for me at all. The story was slow and boring pretty much the first 80% of the book. The author did a great job creating a creepy atmosphere and I wanted Jacy and Jed to leave Jed's dad's remote home. I didn't catch the parallel comparison with the mountain lion and Jacy and just felt it was unnecessary. The last part of the book was just too crazy for it to even make sense.

Thank you @blondethrillerbooklover @blackstonepublishing @libro.fm for a copy of this book. Wendy Walker is one of my favorite and this book did not disappoint. I was sucked into the story from the first chapter with Elsie saving a life in a Target like store. I enjoyed the aspect of the book how this book explores what happens to the "hero" after a traumatic event. The story alternates between the present and the Kill Room and I was intrigued to see how it all tied together. I love how determined Elsie was to find the mystery man she saved and how she used her smarts to outsmart him.

I alternated between reading and audio and enjoyed both format.

Thank you @macmillan.audio @stmartinspress @netgalley for a copy of this book. I had a few issues with the story that made it a 2 star for me.
- the idea of a 17 year old traveling a summer in Greece by herself
- non-consensual sex
- manipulation of young women by much older men
- Rachel's behavior as an adult and how see treated her husband Tim

I did enjoy how all the author described that summer in Greece and can see how these young adults were so drawn to the lifestyle. Listening to the author's note also made sense as to why the story was written as it was and upped a star.

Thank you @blondethrillerlover @grandcentralpub @netgalley for a copy of this book. This story is about Lee, who is down on her luck and a random chance meeting she meets Hazel and forms a friendship. Lee and Hazel are both in bad situations and they figure a plan to help each other. The story turns when Lee figures that things are not what it seems. You don't know who to trust and the story keeps you guessing. I love the multiple POV and how intense the story was.

Thank you @macmillan.audio @smpromance @netgalley for a copy of this summer read. I have enjoyed this series and this story focuses on Cassie, who is visiting her grandmother that will be moving away from Avalon Bay. Cassie meets Tate on several encounters and their connection is undeniable. I love seeing Cassie and her relationship with her grandmother and her search for a summer fling. Tate is such a sweet heart and how he embraced Cassie into his circle of friends. The surprise really shocked me and added such an interesting element in the story. A perfect summer read.

I enjoyed the dual POV and narration which brought the story to life.

I didn't love the first book in this series and I am so glad I didn't give up continue on with the series. I loved Secretly Yours! This was the perfect marriage of convenience story. The first line caught my attention and kept me interested the whole story. I love August with how goofy he is despite being a former SEAL and how honest he was with his feelings for Natalie.

Natalie is a tough on the outside and had more internal issues with some difficult family dynamics. I enjoyed seeing her growth and seeing how Natalie and August's relationship developed. This one was full of laughs and 🔥🔥.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this second chance romance. I am learning that second chance romance is not my jam. I used to love it but I learning that it's hard to make the reader believe the love, the second time. I enjoyed the younger years between Cal and Kathleen despite their action which led to a scandal and end of Kathleen's pop star career.

The interaction as adults was meh. Maybe too much theater and not enough interaction? Cal does a few things for Kathleen and she is a goner...did not convince me. It was like no time was lost and they got together again. It felt more like lust then love.
