Thank you to the publisher and the author for a copy of this cute YA romance. This story centers on Jessica and Elijah who shares the same Korean name and there's a mix up at the internship. I liked how this story covered economical disparity and the growth journey for both Jessica and Elijah. The intern group brought an added layer of interest.

Thank you @harpercollins @netgalley for a copy of this book. I always enjoy books set in LA and this was a cute story about Phoebe who is visiting her sister in LA. She meets her sisters neighbors and fitness trainer and goes on some sightseeing adventures. The supporting cast of characters were great and really made the story. The love story was a slow burn and Ren is just the sweetest.

A great small town romance between Remi and Brick, her brother's best friend. I adore their relationship and the banter between them. The burn was slow and so worth it. The supporting cast was great and the town was so charming.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this book. I am in the minority and thought this book was okay. The story felt a little too The Inheritance Game + Willy Wonka for me. I thought the romance between Lucy and Endo (I can't remember his name) was unnecessary. I did enjoy the relationship between Lucy and Christopher.

Slaughter does it again with another amazing Will Trent book! I have read a few of the books from this series and appreciate that it can be read as standalone. This one focuses on Sara and a current case leads back to her past. We learn what happened to Sara and how she got involved with the case. The story kept me interested and I just love the relationship between Sara and Will.

Thank you @prhaudio @hogarthbooks @netgalley for a copy of this book. Kim does such a phenomenal job with story telling. This one centers on a family with that the dad is missing and their pursuit to finding out what happened. The story is told in POV of Mia, the daughter. I really enjoyed Eugene who is the youngest child with severe Autism and is non-verbal. This was set at the beginning of the pandemic which added an interesting element as well.

Thank you @artriabooks for a copy of this book. This book was so creepy! I was hooked to see what Josie was about. Her actions won't Alix was just weird. I enjoyed how the story unfolded but the ending ..it knocked it down a star for me. Ambiguous endings just don't cut it for me.

I have never read P&P so I cant compare the retelling. I always enjoy a disastrous meet cute and this one cuts right to where Doresy feels insecure about never fitting in. I love all the different topics that was covered in the story and seeing Dorsey and Liza B. The single bed scene was the best and I love all the tension and steamy parts.

This is a book about friendships, starting over and pining for a friend. El and a few of her friends purchase a home away the city and they learn to live their new life and homeowners. I enjoyed the diverse cast of characters which added a lot of life to the story. I found their life as homeowners more entertaining then the romance between El and Ray which felt took a back seat.

This was a cute Hollywood actor meets small town librarian romance. I enjoyed seeing their journey together and all the side characters as well. The banter between Nick and Jane was great and the slow burn..you could feel the tension.
