This is a book about friendships, starting over and pining for a friend. El and a few of her friends purchase a home away the city and they learn to live their new life and homeowners. I enjoyed the diverse cast of characters which added a lot of life to the story. I found their life as homeowners more entertaining then the romance between El and Ray which felt took a back seat.
