I have seen this book so hyped on IG that I had to read it. I love the narration by Meryl Streep but the story didn't really draw me in as others have said. I enjoyed the dynamics of the Lara with her 3 daughters more than the story of how Lara got into acting. I thought it was a great way to have the story set during Covid and how Lara used that time during lockdown.

This was such a beautiful small town romance story. The dual POV and timeline was perfect to see Mare and Caden's background growing up. Mare is back in town and we see them together and I loved every moment of this story. Caden is a bit of a grump and as the story unfolds, you can't help but love him. Have tissues ready, this story is so beautiful.

Nikki Sloane knows how to write a steamy romance. I love a female MC that knows what she wants and Lilian knows she wants her neighbor. I did find Clay a little too controlling but it makes sense for this story. I loved how Sloane incorporated a sec club into this story and how Travis was such an integral part of the story. If you are looking for something very steamy, look no further.

Thank you @prhaudio @netgalley for a copy of this book. So glad to see Molly back again. There is a murder at the Regency Hotel where she was recently promoted to head maid. Similar to the last book, Molly is underestimated by the investigators and proves them wrong. I really enjoyed seeing more of Molly's childhood and her relationship with her grandmother. Lauren Ambrose does a great job portraying Molly and bringing the story to life.

Thank you to the publisher for a copy of this book. This was an interesting premise with Peyton having amnesia after an accident and must date 3 men again to figure out who she loves. The story was cute and really enjoyed the friendship between Peyton and Maya. The story was just a bit predictable and I guessed it from the beginning.

Thank you @atriabooks @netgalley for this queer holiday romance. Eli is a trans that is back home to a small town in Florida and catches up with his first love, Nick, who is a divorced dad. I love the setting of Florida and references to the current state of affairs there. Seeing their friendships redevelop was great. I love that they were both at crossroads and seeing their growth journey. Eli's parents were so amazing and supportive and Nick's dad was great too.

Thank you @readforeverpub for a copy of this book. I always love a book with a do-over. Sadie has had a bad year with losing her job and boyfriend and wished for a do-over. She gets a wish and does things differently and enjoyed her journey. Her relationship with Jacob was sweet and their romance almost took a back seat. I enjoyed seeing how Sadie dealt with the misogynistic world of chefs and how she dealt with her parents expectations as well.

Thank you @readforeverpub for a copy of this small town romance. I love Jenny Holiday's books and this was great! Aurora is a dance teacher that just came out of a relationship. Mike is a single dad looking for help with his daughter. They help each other out and form a friendship with each other. I always appreciate story has heavier topics and this one has dealing with grief and eating disorders. The story is about healing and I love both of their journey. The main conflict of the story was sort of weak IMO but didn't impact my enjoyment of the story.

Thank you to the publisher and @netgalley for a copy of this holiday romance. This feels very Hallmark starring, Haddie, a widow running an Air BnB and raising her little daughter. I love the small town vibe and how supportive the town was with her. A group of friends books a week there and they form a friendship with Haddie. I love the strong female friendships and the twist in the story as well. I do wish we got to see more romance between Haddie and the Christmas tree farmer.

Thank you @smpromance @macmillan.audio for a copy of this. It's been awhile since I've read a Nora Roberts book and this was a great one to come back to her. This book had a little bit of mystery, some romance and great friendships. Sonya inherits a beautiful home from an uncle she never knew she had. She moves and more about her dad's biological family and the history behind the house. I was hooked and curious about the ghosts that resides there and love how their stories unfolded. This was narrated by one of my favorite narrators and she did a great job with pacing of the story. The ending was great but it is a cliffhanger and I am ready for the next book.
