I was curious with Yarros's books after reading Fourth Wing and Iron Flame and I will say I loved this so much more then the fantasy books.
This was a love story between Noah and Georgia. Noah must win Georgia to agree to let him write the final story of Georgia's deceased grandmother story. I love how the story had a story within the story with the love story of her grandmother. I was vested in both and the twist broke me.

Thank you @macmillan.audio for a copy of this thriller. This book is about Emma and Nathan who just lost their home and they move back to Emma's childhood home that has some horrid history. As they are living there, things are happening that are cause for alarm for them. The story is told in the POV of each sister, Emma, Juliette and Daphne. There's lots of twists and turns in the story with so many unknowns, I didn't really know what was happening until the end. This was narrated by Karissa Vacker and she did a great job with the story.

Thank you @libro.fm for a copy of this story. I read the first book and there wasn't a whole lot of substance in it so I wasn't expecting much going into this one other then lots of steamy scenes. Tess moves to Florida to stay with Rachel as she is put on leave with her law firm. She meets Ryan and they have an intense attraction and their meet cute scene was pretty funny. I really liked Ryan but Tess was a mix bag.
The writing on this is a little off. One that stood out was a weird comment about how cuff links were and her kryptonite but Ryan wasn't wearing any. So why bring it up? I did enjoy seeing the other characters back in this story.

I read Pucking Around so this was a good novella to hear about Jake and Rachel's one night in Seattle. The story is steamy and not a whole lot of meat to it but it was perfect and what I was expecting.
I enjoyed the narration who was the same as Pucking Around. Thank you @libro.fm for a copy of this.

This was a quick backstory to Helen and Jake when Jake was Duncan's guest at his sister's wedding. The story is told in multiple POV and read by the author who did a great job. Having read Happiness for Beginners, this was a fun way to get to know their history.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this fun holiday read. This book had total Christmas Hallmark movie vibes. Bella goes to a small Colorado town to close a real estate deal and ends up in competing against the landowner's grandson in the town's Christmas competition. They secretly agreed to this in order to sell the property. The story is cute and the Christmas competition was fun. The third act breakup always drives me nuts but this was a fun story.

I just love Kai and Miller and their love story. Kai was such a great dad at putting his baby as 1 priority while maintaining a successful baseball career. Miller is struggling with her desert chef career and takes a break and helps her dad who is the GM for Kai's baseball team.
I love the banter between the two and the texts they sent to each other. All the deserts sounds so yummy, so be prepared to be hungry.

Read this if you enjoy:
- small town romance
- friends to lovers
- forced proximity
- billionaire romance
Julian and Dahlia are childhood friends and are working together to restore a historic house. The tension between the two was chef's kiss and when they got together it was spicy!! Julian came across as an asshole but was truly the best and was always caring about Dahlia. I love the ending and how much the house played a big part in the story.

I love how this book started with a runaway bride and it's her childhood memoirs that helps her getaway. Megan and Christian bumps into each other a few years later and decided to help each other out as they head home for the holidays. I love the small town setting and the banter between Megan and Christian was great this was such a fun story.

Thank you @readforeverpub for a copy of this book. It was great to be back to this small mountain town in Colorado. We are back with Genevieve and her lodge. Her daughter and grandkids moved in for a change who husband passed away a few years ago. This story is about family relationships, romance and dealing with grief. Willow meets Noah, who is living in isolation and feeling the guilt of losing his brother. I love seeing how Willow and her family help break down Noah's walls.
