Always fun to be back in this fun universe of Christmas Notch. This story centers on Kallum, a former boy band bad boy and Winnie the complete opposite. I really enjoyed their banter and Kallum's supportive of Winnie's sexuality. Winnie's good girl image and expectations follows her and I enjoyed her journey coming into her own. The last half of the book was not my cup of tea with miscommunication.

Thank you @prhaudio for the gifted audiobook. This was part romance, part family drama and part about finding yourself. After losing her boyfriend and job in Paris, Georgie gets a note from her mom who she hasn't known since she was a young child. She flies back to the states to a small beach town in PNW. She gets to know her mom and more about her mom's side of the family and their magical touch. She meets her handsome yet grumpy neighbor and tries to figure him out. I enjoyed seeing her fall in love with the town as well as all the people.

This was a cute read. I didn't feel it was too holiday and really focused on Kate and her dates. Just a bit predictable and I wanted to see more of their interactions to see love between Kate and her true love.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this shifter romance. This is not a genre that I normally read but this was so much fun. The fake dating to help each other out but end up falling for each other. The whole shifter with the full moon thing was fire. The narration was so fun with Joe Arden who is one of my favorite - he totally brought the grumpy vibe. Samantha Sunmers did a great job was well.

Thank you @dreamscape_media for a copy of this audiobook. This was such a beautiful story about Ash who suffers from depression and meets Darian who is a ray of sunshine. I love how the story portrays Darian as a bit vapid as a stunning model but is so much more and seeing their relationship grow. I liked the back story between Ash and Neil and their complex relationship. Nicholas Bulton did a great job with all the voices and now I am curious how a Sussex accent sounds like.

I happened to read this book when it was rivalry football weekend so I can see how Michigan and OSU fans have such a strong feelings against the other team. I really liked Jay and Kayla together but thought it was a bit extreme with how Kayla hid her dates with Jay. The level of die hard is to the extreme here which I found sort of weird and put off by it.

This was a beautiful story that spans several generations. I just felt the story was way too long and a lot of characters do keep track of. I enjoyed the twist of the story and how it ended.

Thank you @bibliolifestyle for a copy of this book. Jean Kwok is such an amazing story teller. We have 2 stories, one of Jasmine who comes from a hard life in China and is married off to a horrible man and has a daughter which he lied and said she died. Jasmine is on the quest to find out the truth on what happened to her daughter. The second story is about Rebecca and Brandon, a successful couple in NYC who has an adopted daughter and a nanny that cares for Fifi. The story is told in parallel and I keep wondering when and how it would intersect. I loved how the story showcased the ramifications of 1 child policy in China and the struggles of an immigrant.

I have never read Jane Austen's books so I have no comparison on the character references. What I can tell you is that this book was so delightful. Emma and George Knightly have been childhood friends. I love how they share a backyard and have easy access to each other's home and how close the family members are. This was a great friends to lovers story. Their romance was a slow burn but once they get there, it's steamy.

This was such a fun audiobook with so much humor and banter. Katy and Mack both teach at the same school and Max drives Katy crazy with his noisy music class and how everyone loves him. A double booking of their vacation home and they are stuck together for a week. I love how they both didn't want give up the space. I love the banter between the two and how they ended up falling for each other.
