Thank you @prhaudio @pameladormanbooks for a copy of this fun thriller. This was the perfect con artist story which centers on Evie and the her current job. The story is told in a dual timeline to give you more back story to Evie. The story got my attention from the first chapter and the twists and turns kept coming. I love that everyone seemed like a bad guy and just didn't know what the motive was until the end. Saskia Maarleveld did a phenomenal job with the narration.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this book. I have been influenced by so many to read this book. I am really at a loss on how to review this book. This book has characters that are all so shallow and materialistic. They are in their early 20s so I get that they will make bad decisions but it seems that's all they do. I was a bit annoyed with the constant reference to designer clothing they were buying or wearing. With all the said, I did enjoy listening to it and seeing what happens with Magnolia and BJ. The narrators did a great job with and both sounded very posh. I am going to continue the series to see what happens.

Thank you @readforeverpub for a copy of this second chance romance. I was happy to be back at Carrigan's and seeing all the characters. This one centers on Hannah who loved the farm growing up when she visited when she was not traveling with her parents. She grew up with Levi who was raised on the farm which his parents running the inn. There was so much angst in this story between Levi and Hannah. The back of forth anger got a bit exhausting for me. I did enjoy seeing them work together and the flashbacks of the story.

I always love a strong female character and Imogen was so good! She is part scientist, part detective and I love her friends in this story. She is constantly near trouble and Tommy isn't sure how she is involved. I love both Tommy and Imogen together. I don't know why it bothered me so much that a grown adult in this time period would go by Tommy. This just felt like what he was called as a boy and not an adult.

I didn't read the other books in this story and read this as a standalone and wasn't lost.

Thank you @prhaudio @berkleyromance for a copy of this audiobook. A story set in a small village in Ireland where Raine ends up working at a pub temporarily to raise money to buy a new guitar after having it stolen. She works with Jack who owns the pub with his brother. An opposites attract story, we see how they tried to resist each other. Karissa Vacker and Gary Furlong does an amazing job bringing the story to life and making you feel like you are in Ireland. There is great representation with both ADHD and OCD. The internal dialogue just got a little too repetitive for me.

Thank you @avonbooks @netgalley for a copy of this story. Every time I read a book by Jill Shalvis, I want to be back in Lake Tahoe. This time we are at a working farm run by Luna and her band of misfits. The owner of the farm leaves her 50% of the farm when he passes and the other to Silas, a suit stuffy. I loved their meet cute and how they were total opposites attract. I love their banter and how they butted heads. The secondary story of Willow felt like a little bit of distraction to me. She was hard to like and seemed to give everyone so much trouble. I do always love the found family in Shalvis' stories and this one was great.

I am a huge fan of forbidden romance and what's more forbidden than dating your ex-boyfriend's dad. I know these stories really don't have much depth in the story but I wanted a little more substance with this. The way Cassidy and Dr. Lowe hooked up so quickly just turned me off. There was no character growth but all the sexy scenes.

After reading the first book, I knew I needed to read Kai's story. He is the perfect mild mannered gentleman and is in line to be CEO to his family's business. Isabella is the tattooed bartender still finding her way. She is not allow to date the clients at the bar she works at but they are totally attracted to each other. I love the duet narration and the narrators did such a great job bringing the banter come to life. Kai is a top notch book boyfriend and this story is just amazing.

Thank you @bibliolifestyle for a copy of this book. For a novella, this story packs a punch. Part of the story is told through Ashley's diary entries into her weekend to her friend's Emma's home for the holidays. The other part is the story is told in present day through Emma's POV. I love how we learned what happened to Ashley and I didn't see it coming.

This was a fun Christmas read with Matthew Prince as the center of the story. He is sent to live his humble grandparents and is cut off from his lavish lifestyle. He meets Hector who is staying with his grandparents. They are the total opposites and a fun enemies to lovers story. Matthew is extremely spoiled and pretty unlikeable at the start of the story. As he gets to know the people of the town better and starts being a better person, the story got a lot better. Lots of funny moments and really enjoyed the banter between Matthew and Hector.
