Thank you @minotaur_books @macmillan.audio for a copy of this book. Margot is a freshman in college and tries to be invisible and is hurting from losing her best friend the year before. Lucy who is the center of attention is drawn to Margot and convinces her to move in with her and her friends.
We see them living as college students and Lucy goes missing. The story unfolds as we learn more about who Lucy is and see Margot's past. I really enjoyed seeing how the story connected and didn't see the twist coming.
Karissa Vacker is one of my favorite narrators and she did a great job on this one.

Thank you @wednesdaybooks @macmillan.audio for a copy of this book. This was a sweet coming of age story about Riley who graduates from high school and takes a day trip to visit her childhood best friend Tom.
The story is set in NYC and I enjoyed seeing Riley self discovery and developing friendships. Tom and Riley were cute together but I didn't really feel their love connection. I really appreciate the side characters and how much depth they added to the story.
Norma Butikofer did a great job and sounded believable as a teenager.

Thank you @netgalley for these short stories. I normally don't reach for short stories since I usually want more from a story.
These 6 stories are all centered on Valentine's Day and written by some of my favorite authors. They are a lot of fun and gets you in the mood for some love.

Thank you to Thriller Book Lovers Promotions and Thomas and Mercer for the advanced readers copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was such a great twisty thriller that kept me guessing. Eden's husband just left her and she is feeling lonely and vulnerable and decides to look up her first love, Justin. She becomes friends with him on Facebook and reconnect via chat. She is excited about this connection and starts thinking about what life would be if she chose him.
I will say that though this is a romantic suspense, there isn't much romance. Eden's naivety sort of drove me bonkers and would not consider this romance because there on wooing and just exchange of texts and not a lot of feelings.
The second half of the book picked up with the twists and I really enjoyed it.

Thank you @prhaudio @berleyromance for a copy of this book. If you are a fan of Taylor Swift, I think you will enjoy this story. Riley is a raising star and writes an album of songs inspired by breakups she has experienced. One of the song is inspired by Max and not her ex-husband. She reaches out together him to help clear up the rumors. Max and Riley reconnect and the story goes back and forth between present day and when they were dating. The story is cute but at parts a bit repetitive with their relationship. I love the dual POV and both narration did a great job with pacing.

Thank you @forgebooks @netgalley for a copy of this book. I have enjoyed books from the author and this premise sounded interesting. Unfortunately this was a miss for me and I should have DNF it. Once Arden was given an ultimatum about her job, she should have said F this place and sue them for wrongful termination.
There is a lot of misdirection in the story between Ned and Cordelia. I had a hard time understanding why Arden was so dedicated to helping them with repairing their image when she was so upset with her job situation. I was annoyed with all the characters other than Pip who sounded like a cute kid.

Thank you @smpromance @recordedbooks @netgalley for a copy of this fun enemies to lovers book. I enjoyed the dual POV and narration and could feel their competitiveness from the story. The spicy ramen scene was my favorite. Nami's company is at a crossroad and it's her high school nemesis, Jae, that can potentially buy her company. I love how Nami looked out for her employees and she learns Jae is not who she thought he was. I liked that we got to see Sora and Jack in this story too.

Thank you @hernyholtbooks @macmillan.audio for a copy of this book.
I am a sucker for books about cults and add in twins and I am in. Kat was in an accident and has temporary amnesia and it's up to her mirror twin, Jude, to help her rebuilt her past. The story is told in dual timeline and both sister's POV.
There's so many elements of mystery in the story with Kat trying to piece her past together and learning that Jude is keeping secrets from her. Kat is losing trust in her sister and I love how the story unfolded.
The dual POV added a great element to the story and there were so many twist and turns which I loved.
The narrators did a great job with the story.

Thank you @berkleyromance @prhaudio for a copy of this book. This book had a little bit of everything: a bad working environment, adjustment to a new life, developing new friendships and a little bit of romance. Zoe is a fashion writer and gets an opportunity to move across the country to work for a fashion app. I thought the book showed a really good idea of working in tech and how tough moving can be to existing and new friendships. I thought the story was light on the romance and seeing the relationship develop.
