Thank you @readforeverpub @netgalley for a copy of this fun rom com. I always enjoy stories that incorporates texts/letters with strangers. Fletcher moved home to help his mom and accepts a new job at the local high school. Fletcher and Lucy has a disastrous meet cute and there's mutual attraction. The author did a great job with anxieties and Jewish representation. The texts exchange between TheMissGuidedCounselor was great. I wished the conflict of the story was not miscommunication. The supporting characters with Lucy's family was great and I love how much they added to the story.

This book was so much fun! Jake's daughter, submits an add for her dad, Jake, to participate in a bachelor contest. Holley, who is assigned with the task, meets and they connect. They become friends as they plan the dates and contestants for Jake. Their banter and connection was so fun and the dates for Jake was entertaining. The support character of Chloe and Holley's dad added so much to the story. And the narrators did such a great job with bringing all the characters to life.

Thank you @prhaudio and the publisher for a copy of this book. This was such a fun debut novel. I always enjoy fake engagement/dating trope. Meghna is in need of a date to her crush's wedding and Karthik is tired of his mom's set ups. They decide to help each other out for a few months. The banter between the two was great and I enjoyed their text exchanges. There was a lot of funny moments in the story which I enjoyed. The narrator did an amazing job bringing the characters to life.

Thank you @wednesdaybooks @netgalley for a copy of this book.

Sam and Nova were friends they were little kids and when Sam moved away, they lost touch. They randomly reconnect in high school and their connection is as strong as ever. I love how they reconnected but didn't like how they kept their friendship a secret. It felt they were both unfair with Sam's girlfriend, despite they were not "cheating". Aside from this aspect, I did enjoy the story. I think there's so much pressure on kids with knowing what they want to do with their future and I enjoyed seeing this portrayed.

Thank you @macmillan.audio @netgalley for a copy of this book.

I think this was my favorite of the series. I debated about giving up on this series after book 2 and 3, I am so glad I didn't. This book picks ups from where book 3 ends and Finlay and gang goes to Atlantic City for a getaway. Of course it's just a cover up to go and find Javi and find a stolen car. Finlay and Vero continues to be in kinds of trouble. I love that the whole family ends up there and even the kids played a role in the story. The narration was great and this was lots of fun.

Thank you to the publisher @netgalley for a copy of this marriage in crisis romance. I don't read too many stories with older couples especially one that is married for 20 years. I love how real this story is about a couple growing apart with focusing on raising a family. You feel the pain the Lauren goes through as she is unappreciated and feels invisible. Despite being a heavier read, there's a lot of humor in it too. The children, grandpa and the puppy brings a lot of depth to the story. I love the forced proximity of a secluded cabin to make them rediscover each other.

I honestly don't know much about Simu Liu but listened to his story since seeing some of his videos on Tik Tok. His story is very similar to a lot of immigrants like myself. There's a lot of challenges of being an immigrant and I enjoyed the stories he shared. His relationship with his parents was interesting and I can see how Asian parents would be "ashamed" of an acting career. I enjoyed the humor he sprinkled throughout the story and seeing all the hard work he did paid off.

This was an interesting premise of a hen party to a friend that you were mean to. If I was one of the invited, there is zero chance I would go. I will say that the 4 ladies all got a little mixed up as I listened to the audiobook, they did not have distinct personalities to separate them. I did continue to listen and enjoyed the ending.

This book was so magical and such a great enemies to lovers story. Both Iris and Roman are rivals at work, they are both interning for the same job. Iris and Roman and totally opposite not just economically but personality as well. I love how Iris tired to riled Roman at work. The element of magic in the story made this story so special. I love the type writers how they got to know each other better. This story does leave you in a cliff hanger.

I didn't know what to expect from this but dark romance is not a genre I read often. I enjoyed parts of the book but there were some things I didn't enjoy. Why have a character that is a pedophile and why are these characters so violent? I did not like that these guys started doing dumb things that hurt people in high school. I think it's the mom in me.
