I meet these ladies at Steamy Lit Con and they were so in love and were so excited about this book. They showed me the cover back then and I have been waiting impatiently for this book.

This was such a great story about diversity and body positivity. Blue and Lilian had an amazing one night stand and months later meet up again on a reality show to win money. They try to resist each other but their connection is just too strong. I love how supportive they were with each other and their teammates. The supporting cast of characters added great depth to the story.

I have been living in my forbidden romance era so this was right up my alley. Lucy and Bridget are friends living in Vancouver and Lucy goes to Prince Edward Island to visit Bridget one summer. Bridget's rule was to not fall in love with her brother. I love how Lucy & Felix had a connection from the first day and they both tried to resist each other every summer. I loved the ways that Felix showed how he cared for Lucy. The story is told Lucy's POV in past and present, I wished we got Felix's POV in the story. I wasn't a fan of Bridget being distant to Lucy's plot line and the big reveal wasn't a big thing. I love the setting of the island and made me want to go and visit.

Narration was good and kept me entertained.

I always love a book with fake dating and meddling mothers. Emily is the oldest of her siblings and is attending her younger sister's wedding. There she finally meets Mark Chan who her parent has been wanting to set her up with. They decided to fake date and trick each other's parents. I love that they had to go on "dates" to convince both their parents they are actually dating. I enjoyed seeing how their feelings changed and how Emily dealt with her family issues. Mark's character was a bit one dimensional and I wanted more from him. There's lots of funny moments, overall an entertaining romcom.

I am so glad that the gang is back, 5 years later. This time, Greg is getting married to Livia in Lake Como and has asked Patrick to take the kids to help ease them into this wedding. The kids are not thrilled about the wedding and Patrick wants to show them about the language of love. I love the shenanigans they get into and Rowley did such a great job depicting Maisie as an emotional 14 year old. The addition of a nemesis with Livia's sister added such a fun element.

I lobe that there not only joy in the book but so many tender moments too. I love how Rowley keeps Sarah so much in this book too.

Ryan has been trying move on from his life 5 years ago where he was accused on doing something to his then girlfriend, Ali. Her missing car is dragged up in the lake and it opens up the case again.

Poppy is a new sheriff deputy working on this case and is relentless trying to figure out what happened. This story is fast paced with multiple POVs and I really enjoyed how the characters were all connected. There's not really any twists but the story keeps you entertained.

All the narrators did a great job bringing the story to life. Thank you @macmillan.audio @minatour_books @netgalley for a copy of the book.

This was a fun nod to Agatha Christie's And Then There Was None. I love the premise of the book of couples going to a secluded island to find the Perfect Couple. I enjoyed seeing how Lyla was reluctant to go on this show with 1. Her relationship with her boyfriend and 2. She is a scientist with no interest in getting famous.

This book quickly turned from Love Island to Survivor when a storm hits the island. I was intrigued with how this book would change. Unfortunately, there wasn't really a big twists and the ending was bit flat for me.

I find books with mix genre always gets mixed feelings when I read them. This premise was intriguing with Saffy who kills bad men and falls for a true crime podcaster, Jonathan, who is a suspect for a killing. I felt the story wasn't romance enough and was more lust. I like to see the romance develop and this didn't have that. On the thriller side, we don't really know much about Saffy and her vigilante ways which I wanted more of. The killer on the loose was easy to figure out. I did enjoy the overall story and the narrator did a good job with bringing all the characters to life.

DID NOT FINISH: 60%

I DNF at 60% this was just too immature for me. Orie is 23 yet she acted a lot younger. I totally get that she is a crossroads with her life with breaking up with her high school sweetheart and this is the first time she is doing something on her own. She just had a lot of growing up to do and this survivor game type place was not the place to do it.

The surviver game setting is fun but doesn't give you too much background with all the contestant and didn't have the depth at the point I stopped reading.

I am probably not the right target audience for this book.

This was such a fun rom com. Gretchen is a con acting as a medium and is sent on a job to a goat farm to do a cleansing. She meets Charlie who is grumpy and on to her and refuses her service. Not only does she meet Charlie but also a real ghost, Everett. Charlie agrees to let Gretchen stay on and continues to distrust her. I love how Charlie was so thoughtful despite not trusting Gretchen and such a good guy and it makes Gretchen want to be a better person. Everett the ghost really stole the show for me. He was so much fun and added such a great element to the story.

Mara Wilson did a great job with distinct voices for the characters and really brought them all to life.

What is it about dysfunctional families that always draws me in. Three estranged sibings are reunited with the death of their mom. As they clean out the house, they stumbled upon some old VHS tape and they watched it together and discover something gruesome. The story is told in the 3 sibling's POV and how they deal with the death of their mom as well as this new mystery. I enjoyed the multiple narration and the pacing of the story. I really liked this book makes you think how far you would go to protect your family.
