We got a little introduction to Talullah and Burgess at the end of Fangirl Down and I was excited for their story. Talullah agrees to be Burgees' tween daughter's Au pair and they both have an instant attraction to each other. Talullah is looking to be more "brave" and social while Burgess has only been focused on being a dad. They sort of agree to help each other out and of course their attraction develops. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop and their scenes were hot! The 3rd act breakup totally could've been avoided but both were so hard headed and didn't talk it out which frustrated me.
I enjoyed seeing Wells and Josephine having a big role in this story and leaning about Chloe and Sig and can't wait for their story.

I am a sucker for a romance between a royal and a non-royal and this one was mix race which added an interesting element. Emma is a culinary instructor that socializes in Korean royal cuisine and her aunt is matchmaker who wants to match her up become she becomes too old. She meets Michel at a coffee shop after one of her matches and they have an instant attraction. I love that Michel falls first and they were really cute together. They were total opposites in their view of love and that added a good element to the story. For me, I wanted more from Michel, his love felt way too insta for me. I wasn't a big fan of the ending despite it being a HEA. I felt Emma gave up a lot of her dreams to be with Michel.
Olivia Song did a wonderful job with the narration with both a Korean pronunciation with all the foods and Michel and Gabriel's accent.

How can I resist a book that involves a librarian and a best friend brother. This story is a bit messy with Marcela's friend who she has been pinning for Ben is getting married. Marcela catches Theo practicing his declaration for Ben's fiance and stops him. They decide to be fake date and their story starts there. I love the plus size representation and the insecurities of Theo as well. I really enjoyed the two together with great banter and steamy scenes. I wasn't a fan of Ben and Alice's relationship and how it turned out seemed abrupt. Overall, this was a great debut and I will look forward the next book Gamez writes.

This book focus on 4 friends that met in college and one was gone a decade ago. Hannah calls her friends as her life is turned upside down. The story is told in the 3 POV and each have their own life challenges. I enjoyed the friendship between them but felt the romance was forced into the plot. The narrators all did a good job on the story. However, the characters just wasn't developed enough for me that I forget whose POV I was listening to.

If you a fan locked room mystery and family drama, then this one is for you. Add in an incoming storm and an inheritance and I am in. The story is told by Charley, who is a maid at Precipice Hotel. This weekend, the Bishop family that owns the hotel are all gathered together to hear the will of the owner who recently passed away. There's a murder that happens and everyone is now distrustful of each other and dark family secrets are revealed. The story was a little slow but I enjoyed the atmospheric setting and how the story revealed itself.
Saskia Maarleveld did a great job with all of the voices.

I was truly addicted to the Addicted series so I was ready to jump on to a new series by this duo. This one is about Phoebe and Hailey who starts a new life in Connecticut town after of conning people. Hailey's brother, Rocky, joins them and starts complicating their simple life. I enjoyed the complicated relationship between Phoebe and Rocky and the slow burn was driving me crazy in a good way. This story ends in a cliffhanger and I am ready for the next one.
Aaron Shedlock and Carly Robins did a great job being the narrators and kept me engaged.

Thank you @prhaudio @berkleypub for a copy of this popcorn thriller. If you are into adults behaving badly this is the one for you. Cassidy just went through a heartbreak and her friend finds her a job to be an assistant to a famous celebrity couple. She moves from Texas and starts working with Marisol and enjoys the ease of the job as well as the couple. She also starts help Nate with reading scripts and eager helps since she wants to be a writer.
We learn early in the story that there is a murder but don't know who it is. I love how the story played out and I felt bad for Cassidy who was easily swayed with attention and compliments. The story was entertaining and I can see this turning into a movie.
Brittany Wilkerson did a great job with the narration. I did want a more southern drawl since Cassidy was from Texas.

Thank you @prhaudio @aaknopf @netgalley for a copy of this book. This book starts with Cleo going to her mom's for dinner but she is missing and everything feels suspicious with her leaving abruptly. The story is told in several timelines and both Cleo and Kat's POV. I really liked the complicity of their relationship and how the story unfolded. There is a lot going on and everyone seems suspicious.
Olivia Campbell and Cassandra Campbell both did a great job as Kat and Cleo and kept me engrossed in the story.

I love Keeland's romance story so I was excited to give her debut thriller a read. The premise caught my attention with Meredith experiencing a major tragedy and intersects with another person that shared the same experience. I felt for Meredith and the all the guilt that she had and then her obsession leading her down a rabbit hole of bad decisions. There were parts of the story that was a bit predictable and parts that I didn't see coming. I did feel some of the plots wasn't fully fleshed out but overall, it was a great first thriller.
Oh and of course, there was some spicy scenes which was hot!

Torre does such an amazing job with twisty psychological thrillers. This one is on Wultz family who lives in a wealthy California neighborhood who appears the perfect family but both Perla and Grant both have so many secrets. The story is told in multiple POV and it's not confusing but I could not wait to see how Leewood Folcrum tied to them.
I liked that each chapter started with a short witness statement about the characters. Perla is so sick and twisted and I love how Torre wrote such an unlikeable character. I love how the story unfolded and kept me so entertained despite figuring out some of the twists.
