Wow! This was an amazing production of an audiobook!! I am not a horror reader and this one I wouldn't really categorize as horror ..more sci-fi. The story centers on Misha, a screenwriter who is being haunted by his characters. The story is entertaining and feels almost like a movie production and really looks at the threat of AI and use of logarithms. It speaks about greed, marginalized voices. The full cast of characters and sound effects kept me so entertained and engrossed with the story.

This was a steamy hockey romance that starts with a one night stand between Hazel and Brody. The next day they bump into each other and learn he is hockey player on her dad's hockey team. I thought Brody was kind of obsessed with Hazel and was way too persistent after one night but enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. There is a lot that goes on with Hazel coming back home to support her dad's pending divorce. This book is set during hockey play off season which I would think would allow for any downtime and giving them time to spend together.

Overall, this was a fun read with good character development and other issues they both had to go through.

** spoiler alert ** I was so excited for Josie and Matthew's love story - I loved The Long Game. Josie has been engaged 4x and is somehow become an interest to a podcast for it that was looking into her famous dad's life. When Matthew arrives at an awkward situation between Josie and her dad's PR person, she fakes Matthew as her fiance and he plays along with it. The story is cute but I thought it was kind of creepy that Matthew fell for Josie because his best friend says she had met his soulmate.

There were a lot of steamy moments but I cringed at the public sex in a dressing room when everyone was waiting outside.

I did enjoy seeing characters from The Long Game back in this story.

Thank you @prhaudio @putnambooks for a copy of this debut novel.
Ash is looking for a ride back home for the holidays and Hazel goes to the coffee he works with agrees to take him. They have a history with being friends in high school and Hazel dated Ash's best friend.
A road trip romance story is not a romance until the only 1 bed arrives. I love how they handled that and the diner scene cracked me up. The banter between Ash and Hazel was great and I love how they helped each other when they were back home.
Both Ash and Hazel have a lot of family baggage to work through. I thought they both held back some things that didn't make sense for me.
Two of my favorite narrators - Britney Pressley and Zachary Webber did a phenomenal job brining the story to life.

This was a great debut thriller set in a small town in Louisiana. Dr. Willa Watters returns back to her home
to retrieve some belongings from her aunt's home, who passed away recently. Lots happens while she is back with a serial killer on the loose and her past catches up with her. There are lots of mysteries and I didn't who was the villan and it kept me guessing. The writer does a good job with giving the creepy vibes with the bayou setting.

Sophie Amoss did a perfect job with the narration. Thank you @booksforwardpr for a copy of the audiobook.

This was great cozy mystery with a case that Andy takes with Nick who is accused on a shooting at his workplace. I wasn't too sure how the story was gonna take us to prove Nick's innocence and I enjoyed how it unfolded.

I have only read another book in this series and that one, the dogs played a role in the story whereas this one really dogs weren't much part of it.

Grover Gardner did a great job with the narration and kept me interested in the mystery.

Nikhil and Marley were each other's first love and Nikhil ghosted Marley after prom. They lose touch and is reconnected when Nikhil's handler hires Marley as his stylish since he is an up and coming actor.

I really liked the 2 together and it felt like they picked up where they left off when Nikhil agrees to help Marley out and moves in and help Marley after her surgery.

I thought Nikhil was a sweetheart and super thoughtful through out the story and felt Marley really pushed him away for such a silly reason.

There was a lot going on with the story from Nikhil's rise to fame to his family problems, Marley's surgery and her place of employment. I felt some of the parts were a bit unnecessary and just made the story too surfaced,".

I did enjoy seeing Reena and Nadim appear in this book.

This is my first book by Walsh and I am ready to dive into her backlist. This was a story about not taking life for granted, mending relationships and building new ones. Kelsey and Georgina meets at the hospital when they shared a room. They agreed a plan of yes to doing things they normally say no to.

They end up on a road trip and Georgina is reunited with her estranged son, Hayden. We then see how Georgina and Hayden mends their relationship while Kelsey and Hayden also forms a relationship,

Tanya Eby and Cathi Colas both did great on the narration.

Thank you @berkleypub @prhaudio for a copy of this book.

I DNF'd at 50%. This book had a lot of potential but it didn't work for me. There was a lot going on and yet not a whole lot happened. I understand there's a killer on the loose but if felt off to me that the neighbors were all so untrusting. Usually during natural disasters, people come together and help each other out.

The narrator did a good job with the story. I think if we had more back story of characters, I may enjoy it more.

I think this may be my favorite of the series. This one is about Martha who is married to Alan, a traveling salesman and she suspects of him of killing women. As a result, she reached out to Lily for help. Martha and Lily are friends that have lost touch and I love how Lily was introduced to this story. The story has so many layers of twists and turns and I love that Henry is also back in the story. I highly recommend reading the first 2 books to get a feel of Lily.

I enjoyed the multi cast of narration as well.
