I liked the colliding of 2 unlikely worlds of fanfic and beauty pageants. I enjoyed seeing the growth between Kay and Tea and how they became fast friends over the weekend.

I am so bummed this didn’t work for me. And here are my reasons:
- second chance romance with little back drop of their love 
- Insta love with their connection 
- no banter which this dynamic duo does such a great job of
- love story took a back seat 

This is basically a treasure hunter story with some love thrown in. What really threw me off is how they nonchalantly dealt with Terry’s death. I am 100% sure I would not be able to continue the hunt or have sex with someone the next day.

This was a great action packed thriller. I really liked Ellery as the MC and kept rooting for her to end her ties to Coben. The action kept coming and just got more intense. I am bummed I read the last book of the series and will need to go and read the other 4 books to get the backstory.

This was a beautiful story to remind us that despite the 9/11 tragedy, people came together. I remember crying for days even though I didn’t know anyone. My heart was so broken for everyone. This book showed the true heart of humanity.

Thank you @berkleyromance for a copy of Deliah Green Doesn’t Care. I enjoyed this romance between Deliah and Claire. The attraction between them was hot and I enjoyed seeing how quickly Deliah was ingrained in Claire’s life. 

It was nice to see the relationship between Astrid and Deliah mend. The setting of this small PNW town sounded so pretty and picturesque. 

What a great memoir. I loved Dave’s story of him growing up, how he fell in love with music and of course how ended being one a rock star. I adore his stories about him being a father and love his dedication to his girls.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this audiobook. I wanted to love this book as it was a great homage to the 80s slasher horror movies. This book didn’t really work for me. The story felt all over the place and it felt the author tried to fit every horror movie into the book. 

I thought the author did a great job with such an unreliable character with Lynette that you can’t trust anything she is thinking. 

Thank you Carina Press for a copy of Smooth as Silk. This was a cute small town romance. I love the supportive friendships in the book. 

I thought Robbie stole the book with his charming personality. I had a hard time with Hyacinth’s personality and her obsession with her store. She just just a bit rigid for me and the romance between Robbie and Hyacinth was one I had a hard time getting on board.
