Wow what a book!! This story was told in present as Benny & Bryon as they learn more about their mom’s will and past of Covey’s life. The back story of Covey was so heartbreaking. The audio narration was amazing.

This is one crazy f’ed up book. It’s about ultra wealthy couple that are bored with life and plays with an unassuming victim. The story is pretty far fetched but so entertaining!!! The audio brought the story to life.

This book got me from the first chapter.  I love the idea traveling to someplace remote to find yourself. The cottage is doubled booked and Cleo and Mack is forced to spend a few weeks together.

I love how they developed a routine that respected each other that gave them time to learn more about themselves as well as each other. I adore all the people that lives on Salvation and how much they added to the story.

Thank you @readforever @netgalley for a copy of The Riviera House. What a beautiful  WWII story. It was 2 love stories in WWII and 2015. Both of the love stories were so well written and made my heart break for everyone.

What a beautiful story about surviving without a parent and Rae’s relationship with her neighbor Lettie. The narration was perfect with Rae as a 10 year old. My heart broke for her as she tries to make life seem normal with out her mom. I love how Rae and Lettie turned to care for each other.

This book breaks your heart and gives you hope at the same time.

Thank you @wednesdaybooks @netgalley for ALC of Full Flight. Wow what a beautiful book about first love. I loved seeing Anna and Weston’s relationship develop and how it was brought to life by the narrators.

The story is so well written and I love how the story was tied in with Weston’s obsession for Kauai ‘o ‘o bird.  I didn’t read the synopsis in full detail and the twist gutted my heart.

Thank you @berkleyromnace for a copy of Ramon and Julieta.  This was a fun retelling of Romeo and Juliette which lots of tacos!! I loved that it was set in San Diego and mentions of places that I have visited.

I appreciate that the story touched on gentrification and wrestling with keeping culture alive. Now I want to go and get a great fish taco.

Thank you @bookclubgal @netgalley @williammorrow for a copy of Anne of Manhattan. This is a retelling of Anne of Green Gables which I did not read.

This is a a cute story of childhood enormous to lovers story between Anne and Gilbert. The story is told with past and present and gives you a good background on Anne’s past. Overall I enjoyed the interaction between Gilbert and Anne and found the story enjoyable.

Thank you @letstalkpromo for a copy of this book.

I really enjoyed the first book and was excited to read this. This story picks up from the last book but can be read as a standalone. I do recommend reading If She Dies.

I enjoyed this one but didn’t love it. I found the interaction between Josh and Tess repetitive and frustrating but I know it was part of the story. The family drama from Torrie’s family added an interesting dynamic to the story.

I felt the big twist was just a bit far fetched and the end tied up too nicely.
