This picks up right where the first book ended. The second book was very similar in plot that they were looking for someone. I wanted more romance between Kee and Varro. I did enjoy the tension between the two.

I love a fun fairy retelling and this one is loosely based on Cinderella. I thought the story was cute but the premise of Diana of getting a nanny job based on lies just turned me off. A slight lie maybe okay but she was so unqualified and just so wrong despite her reason for getting the job. I really adored the kids and how adorable they were. Griffin was charming and the slow burn was enjoyable.

Thank you to the publisher for ALC and ARC of The Prisoner. The book started with a bang and I was curious what led Amelia to this situation. It was intense and the flashback sort of slowed the story down. The second half of the story was basically the writer telling us how the kidnapping happened and why rather then leading us it. This made it a little less entertaining. Amelia friends were not developed enough and they were interchangeable. I did enjoy the narration.

What a great story that centers on the Lockhart women (Brenda - mom and daughters Allison and Peggy) deals with life after Frank has an affair and leaves the family. I love how the story showed all the difficulties of each of the women and the struggles they had. Weaving in the OJ Simpson trial created an interesting element to the story. Living in Orange County, it was fun to read of places told in the story.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of the audiobook. Sign me up about a twin sisters and a cults. This story is about Sam looking for her sister Elli that disappeared. I enjoyed the history of the sister through the flash back. The narration of the book was great with part of the story told in each of the sister's POV. I enjoyed how this story played out.

This was one dark and twisty read and I am here for it!! Winstead's second thriller hit it out of the park with cults and a bad ass heroine. Lots of triggers for this one so be sure to pay attention to them. The story is told in past and present as Shay and Jamie goes back to their college and try and understand the death of a former friend. The story unfolds on what happened 8 years ago and how it all ties to present time. I could not put this down.

I always enjoy books about starting over and this book is about a middle aged woman with a ruin career and needs to start over. I love that she took a risk and moved to France and the people she meets there. The people at the hotel add an interesting factor to the story. I felt the ghost was unnecessary to the story and that the romance between Bing and Lucy needed to be fleshed out more. Overall, it's an enjoyable story.

This book gave me a total book hangover with a new favorite book boyfriend. I love the forced proximity story between Rosie and Lucas. So many fun moments and so many tender moments. How can you not fall in love with a man that can cook and is so sweet.

I enjoyed Cooper's story and wanted to read Evan's story. I am not sure how I feel about Evan and Gen's story. Their previous relationship sounds toxic despite being so physically connected. I enjoyed seeing Evan's growth in trying to be a better man.
Gen was a tough character to root for. I don't know why but she just annoyed me. I really enjoyed the supporting characters that brought life to the book.
The narrators did a good job depicting Gen and Evan.
Thank you to the publisher for a copy of ARC and ALC copy.

Thank you for a copy of this book. I had high hopes for this book since I loved her other books. I liked that Naomi was so dedicated to her patients but think she was way out of line with Anna and Jacob trying to go above and putting herself at risk.
I found Leon to be a pompous ass that didn't feel supportive of Anna especially finding out what happened in a scene.
I don't know how but I figured out the twist so that may have may have made me enjoy it less.
This book is very fast paced and action packed for a short book.
